Playing with My Monthly Hero

I had a chance to play with my newest My Monthly Hero kit, and made 4 cards.  I have been feeling hopeful that things will be better in 2021 than they were in 2020, and this kit captures that feeling.  Unfortunately, as I post this, our capital is under attack, so I don't know if it is time yet to be hopeful.

My first card was inspired by Julee Tillman.  I sponged three different colors of Catherine Pooler ink on to a piece of card stock, then cut it out with the 'HOPE".  I layered 3 die cuts to create some texture.  I carefully saved the cut out pieces to use on my next card.  I also stamped the card base with the largest of the 2 sunburst images in the kit.

And...this is what I did with the bits and pieces I cut out of the previous die.  2 cards with one pass of the die.

This next card was inspired by Mariana, and I used only the stamps from the kit.  I really love how the stamps layer up the clouds and sky.

Last up is a card inspired by Michelle.  I was able to use the stamps and dies from the kit on this card.  Honestly, I think that this may be my favorite MMH kit yet.

I am entering all these cards in the following challenges:  Stay Crafty with Hero #18: Inspired by...,  The Paper Players #522: Use Something New, Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: use a new product, Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Something New, Use Your Stuff #413:  All About the New, Shopping Our Stash #436: What's New with You.

I am also entering the last card at Just Us Girls #565: Hello and also at Inkspirational #229: Something In Your Home (it is almost always sunny when I look out my window)

Thanks for Visiting
