Friend and Awesome

I am popping in quickly to post a couple of cards that have been sitting on my desk, patiently awaiting their turn to post--the challenge is ending for one of the cards, so I am posting tonight.

My first card is inspired by the lovely Muse card made by my friend Tracey for Muse Challenge #158.

I was inspired by Tracey's white embossing, water coloring, the shape of the petals/leaves of her stamp, and her CAS design.

I decided to use Mama Elephant Tree Friends because the tree top kind of reminded me of the flower cluster on Tracey's card.  I love how delicate this tree top is, and water colored it with a variety of pink Distress Inks.

I am also entering this card at Addicted to CAS #84: Delicate.

This is the first time I am playing along with a yummy challenge...Cupcake Inspirations #352.   They are sponsored by Verve, so I decided to pull out some Verve stamps to play along.

The inspiration is a color challenge, and I have used Ripe Avocado paper for the 'awesome' die cut, which I stacked 4 high, and WPlus9 Mojito and Wild Mango inks.

I am also entering this card at Addicted to Stamps and More #186: Anything Goes.

Thanks for Visiting
