Holiday Treat Holders

This week's ColourQ challenge cQc #114 is 'Anything but a Card'.  I am in the process of making a supply of treat holders, so I made some of them in this fun color combination.  I dug into my surprisingly enormous stash of 12 X12 papers to find these colors.

Here is a picture of a couple of them all together.  They are currently empty--I won't hit the kitchen until Monday, but if you look closely, you can see that the inside paper is stamped with the Tiny Treats Christmas version of the Tremendous Treats image on the front.

Here is a close up of the belly bands.  They are stamped with Tiny Treats in Fresh Snow ink.

Supplies Used (PTI)
Stamps:  Tremendous Treats Christmas, Tiny Treats Christmas, Friendship Jar
Paper:  Candy Cane and Men of Life, Kraft, White, and misc
Other:  Dies:  Damask Snowflake, Double Ended Banner, Rectangular Tins

Thanks for Visiting

  3. Oh my word... those are the cutest bands!!! I love the penguin too! Yes, I've seen the Grinch (I LOVE the Old Globe!!) but never w/ DD yet. I did take her to see Mary Poppins with a sign-on-san-diego deal - orchestra seats for just $20 each! $ have been SO tight with only my teaching wage, but DH just got a JOB (after 2 years off) and starts Monday! I can't wait to get crafting supplies again - can you believe I don't even have any stamper's select white paper, or re-fills for my ATG gun? Soon, baby, soon.

  4. Joyce...I am so envious (in a good way). I wish I had those adorable rectangular tins this year for some goodies. I love your focal point and those belly bands to match are scrumptious! Super fabulous!

  5. These are really cute! I wonder what you are going to put in them, bet it will be tasty! I love how you carried the images into the liner for the inside. That was a great way to make use of both stamp sets. The snowflakes are a beautiful embellishment for the outside of the tins too.

  11. Joyce,
The tins are adorable. The snowflake with the image is perfect. Love the stamping on the belly bands. I noticed the inside papers immediately. I really do need that snowflake die. I guess I'll just have to wait to get it next year.
