More Tags (& Sweets)

I am loving the technique for making any die a tag that was shown on this week's Make-It-Monday #46.

I've got some tags that I whipped up quickly to go along with a new recipe I tried for English Toffee.

They all open up and look like this inside:

Here they are all together:

Here is a peek at what I made the tags for:

English Toffee

This is my second batch of toffee since yesterday.  I am still fiddling around, trying to get to what I consider the perfect recipe.  This batch looks identical to the previous batch, but home taste tests say this is more delicious.  I think there is a third batch in my future, probably next week.  At any rate, it is so much easier than what I made for most of my home made gifts, which were chocolate and vanilla caramels, each one individually wrapped.  Good, but WAY too much work for more than once or twice a year.

  1. All fun tags Joyce. Your English Toffee looks fantastic. Once you perfect your recipe maybe you will share. ;)

  2. These tags are fab! Love the holiday lights! I've made some toffee crunch myself for the first time. Our tradition is peanut brittle and my hubs just informed me that we will need more before Christmas. Homemade candy is pretty delicious! Enjoy your sweets!

  3. Your tags are just darling! Oh, and how I would love to be a taste tester for that English Toffee! It looks incredible!

  4. Sweet tags! I just watched the PTI video last night and I'm itching to try this technique for folded tags. Yours are all wonderful, although I really love the white tag with holiday lights. :) Ann Y.

  10. Adorable little tags! Love each and every one of them. Your toffee looks great, but I have never made any before. I do have to say that your homemade caramels were over the moon, so in my opinion well worth your time! My box only lasted one day in my house!

  11. I missed these yesterday. More beautiful tags. I don't know where you find the time. I make English toffee too , we should compair recipes . The Carmel's you made were honestly the best we have ever had! Since I make candy I know how much you put into it. For us were sooo glad you did.
