Happy Birthday

I made two birthday cards this week.  First up is a colorful card using my newest fox stamp set...Winter Fox.  I used the technique in the PTI Make it Monday #339: Pattern Frames. 

Next up is a masculine birthday card using the fall themed color scheme at Colorthrowdown #514.  Alot of gluing bits of paper to make this die work, but I really like the retro/funky look of this card.

I am also entering this card Seize the Birthday: Anything Goes.

CASology Week #316...Punctuation

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is PUNCTUATION.  I found this cue to be challenging, but I also think it is one which encourages a lot of creativity and out of the box thinking.  I remembered PTI Grand Ampersand stamps, and used one of the ampersand dies to create a Clean and Simple wedding card.

Time Out #119...Reminder...My Friend

There is still time to play along with our current challenge at Time Out.  Our challenge this time is a theme challenge:

I decided to make a friendship card, as I am pretty well stocked with Breast Cancer cards.  Yay, because that means I haven't had to use any of my breast cancer stash of cards.  

I used Mon Ami stamps by CAS-ual Fridays, who are also our sponsor for this challenge.  I turned the sentiment into a stem for my flower.  I think perhaps that sentiment was designed for that purpose.

3 Birthday Cards

Hi there.  I'm popping quickly for a mid week post to share 3 birthday cards.

First up is a card I made using the cutest stamps I just got from Lil Inker called Scooter Balloons.  I am entering this card at Seize the Birthday, where the topping is Travel.

While I had the stamps lined up in my Misti, I stamped and colored another version to enter at Addicted to Stamps & More #312: Make Your Mark.

My last card uses a packaging die from PTI In the Bag and I am playing along at PTI Make it Monday #338:  Using Packaging Dies on Cards.  I created a tag to go inside the bag, and when you pull the tag out, there is a birthday sentiment on it.  I am also entering this card at Simon Says Monday Challenge: Tag It.

CASology Week #315...Gratitude

My Crafty Weekend

Can you believe this is my second post today.  Click here to see all the cards I made as a Guest Designer at The 12 Kits of Occasions.


My first card combines the sketch at CAS-ual Friday's #209 and the colors at Just Add Ink #428.  I used the new PTI Corner Adorner September stamps.  I am also entering this card at Addicted to Stamps and More #311:  Anything Goes.

Next up is a card using the Sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #356 and the colors at The Color Throwdown #512.  I am also entering this card at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge:  Anything Goes.  I used Stampin Up Totally Trees stamps.

Next up is a card I started to make using the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch #291.  After completing the card, I decided I needed to try again.  Because of that, I am entering the second card at PTI Transformation Tuesday Challenge.

Original Card

I moved the balloons higher on to the card, and used just one sentiment/string.  I am happier with the second card.

Next up is a card playing along at The Paper Players #412.  It is a tic tac toe challenge, and I chose the diagonal die cut, pumpkin, green.

Last up is a card for The Male Room #95: The Great Outdoors.  I used PTI Mountain Majesty stamps.

Guest Designer....The 12 Kits of Occasions

I was so very excited when my friend Kim asked me to be her guest for this month's 12 Kits of Occasions.  I was one of the original members of the group, but left a while ago when life got just a bit too busy for me to participate every month.  I have missed the creativity and camaraderie of the group, and had such fun popping in just for this month.


Take a look at the fun kit that Kim sent out.  I used almost every single thing she sent.

I am going to just jump right into the cards, without a whole lot of explanation.  There's always lots to get to.
