Thanks

Hello...popping in quickly with a thank you card, inspired by the theme at the PTI Video Series to make a thank you card.  I used the sketch from CAS Colours & Sketches #415 and the colors from Color Hues #15.

Three Cards for the Weekend

I have 3 cards to share today.  First up is a card using this week's Make it Monday #294 technique. The idea was to have a monochrome card with a pop of color.  I used card front and die cuts in Ocean Tides and my pop of color was Stacked Sentiments stamped in red.

I am also linking this card up at Seize the Birthday and Simon Says Monday: Happy Birthday.

My next card was inspired by the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch #234.  I used flowers from Humming Along.

Last up is a card using my very favorite Christmas Critters.  I am entering this card at Simon Says Wednesday: For a Child.

My Crafty Week

I am popping in to post a few cards I have been working on this week, as 2 of the challenges are about to end.

This first card is inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #243.  I used my newest flower stamp by PTI--Forget Me Not.  I am also entering this at Simon Says Wednesday Anything Goes.

My next card uses the technique in Make it Monday #254 Stenciling with Texture paste.  I followed the sketch at Paper Players #301 and am also entering it at Less is More where the challenge is to use a stencil.

My next card is inspired by the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch #179.

And, finally, I am celebrating the 4th birthday of Addicted to Stamps and More.  I was inspired by the challenge photo.  I am also entering this card at Seize the Birthday, without toppings this week.

This card was pretty fun to make--I started by stamping the sentiment using Lawn Fawn's Quinn's Alphabet stamps.  Then I doodled and colored with Copics, adding a couple of balloons and gifts from a Clearly Besotted birthday set.  I outlined everything in a grey Copic to make the images look a little 3D.

PTI 9th Anniversary

Popping in quickly with cards for two more of the PTI 9th Anniversary challenges.

First up is a card for the Create Along with us Challenge.  I was inspired by this card by Erin Lincoln.

Erin Lincoln's Card

I stayed pretty true to Erin's card, with the exception of the border die she used (not released yet) and my color scheme, which was both darker and brighter than hers.  I impressed my card front with the Peony Cover plate and that gave me a rough guide about where to sponge my flowers and leaves.

I thought the white areas looked a little stark, so I went over them with a very light sponging of Aqua Mist.

My next card is for the Day 5 Sampler Square Challenge.  I've recently been teaching both of my teenaged daughters how to drive, so I find myself looking at road signs more closely than usual.  I had this idea to use a bunch of the different arrow dies from Get to the Point.

I pulled out 9 different colors of PTI card stock and die cut 9 different arrows from Get to the Point. Then I stamped each arrow using Versamark ink and a variety of different PTI background stamps.

It was still looking a little stark, so I boldly (foolishly) started doodling--I added faux stitching around all the boxes and random little white dots from my white gel pen.  I stamped a sentiment from Retro Style Graduation and an arrow from Live Love Life.  I think this will be a fun card to give one of my girls as they head out on their next adventure.

Birthday, Thank You and Get Well Cards

Hello.  I have been working on lots of fun cards, but I needed to take a pause because a couple of challenges are ending soon.

Sorry for the dark photo, but my camera does not like Summer Sunshine (or any other yellow/orange color).  I was inspired by several challenges for this card.

I used the new sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch #154, and I am also submitting this card at Simon Says Stamp Monday and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenges, both of which have Something New as their challenge.  I used PTI Stacked Sentiments on this card, a new purchase for me.

I am also entering this card at Inkspirational #99 Thank You with Something New and Just Us Girls #324 Thank You.

Next up is a trio of cards.  I started with the idea to use my Quilt Cuts dies from WPlus9 for their Throwback Thursday #10 challenge and decided to use the colors from CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #155.

I needed to die cut three different colors of paper, so decided to make three cards so I would not have any wasted pieces.

I am also entering one of these cards at The Male Room #26 Anything Goes.

Last up is actually the first card I made, inspired by this fun card by my friend Michele over at Muse #147.

Michele's Inspiration Card

I pulled out PTI On Ice and some patterned paper to make a birthday card for my neice who is a figure skater.

You can see that I was inspired by Michele's design, her use of patterned paper, an oval focal point and a die cut popped up next to the sentiment.

I am also entering this card at Curtain Call Frozen, and Seize the Birthday Anything Goes.
