25 Days of Christmas Tags 2020...Day 14...Lawn Fawn/Lawnfawnatics

Welcome to the 10th Annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags!

If you are new to the event you can click HERE to see the posts from the last 9 years. There are also links to the Pinterest boards for each of  the past years at the bottom of this post.  There is so much incredible inspiration there.  I am so excited to share that there are 26 sponsors this year, and each of the sponsors and their designers will be joining us as a guest for a day!

Welcome to Day 14!

If you are just arriving for the first time all the details and the linkup can be found HERE!

Today I am thrilled to announce that we have Lawn Fawn as our sponsor.

I decided to make a trio of tags.  Each tag uses a different Lawn Fawn stamp set, but they are unified in that I used the same tag die, sentiment ink colors and each tag has some cute critters.

This tag uses some of the adorable mice from Mice on Ice.

This tag features a pair of the bears from one of my newest Lawn Fawn sets, Den Sweet Den.

Last up is a tag featuring these sweet songbirds from Winter Sparrow.  This set is quite old, yet timeless, and I am always happy when I make something with these stamps.

Please head over to the main post on Tracey's blog for more information on how you can join in on the
fun and have a chance to win one of our prizes.

Dream Big....and More...

Hello friends....I have eeked out some crafty time already this week, and will start with my favorite card of the bunch.  The challenge at Stay Crafty with Hero #8 is Small Joys, and I found some tiny stamps in my newest Hero Arts stamp set to use on my card.  I stamped the trio of books 4 separate times, cut them out and stacked them up, resting the little reading mouse right on top.  I don't know why, but I love this card so much (I may never send it out).  I am also entering this card at AAA Cards #165: Up to One Third + Optional Twist of Repeating Image (my trio of books).

This next card is inspired by the challenge at Lawn Faunatics #77: Oh Baby and Perfectly CAS #9: Animals.  This sweet little baby deer is from Lawn Fawn Into the Woods.

Next up is a card inspired by the challenge at Paper Smooches:  Thank You, Addicted to CAS #184: Flower, and Retro Rubber Challenge #135: tic tac toe (die cut, embossing, flowers).  My stamps are Paper Smooches Blossoming Buds and I think they are 4 years old.

Last up is a card using these beautiful Chrysanthemum stamps from Uniko, and I am inspired to play along with Uniko Challenge #59:  Anything Goes with the optional twist of bright and happy.

Happy Birthday Bird, Dogs and Cat

I finally found my mojo, and made 2 birthday cards for various challenges.

First up is this birthday card using an adorable flamingo from Paper Smooches Baby Birds stamps.  I also used the Blocks in Perspective stencil from Funky Fossil.  I am entering this card at Paper Smooches Animal Challenge, Freshly Made Sketches #427, CAS Colours & Sketches #362 and Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Stencil Fun.

2 Cards for Fun

With my kids back at school (finally), I had a bit of time to craft just for fun.  I made 2 cards inspired by a variety of challenges.

First up is this valentine.  I finally broke into the My Monthly Hero kit from May, 2019 to create this fun, knitting themed valentines day card.  I am entering it at A Blog Named Hero January Challenge:  Anything Goes, Freshly Made Sketches #419, Addicted to Stamps and More #373: Holiday (Valentines Day), and Simon Says Monday: Home Decor (knitted blanket).

My next card celebrates friendship with some cute Lawn Fawn birds from Feathered Friends.

I am playing along at Lawn Fawnatics #69:  For the Birds, Use Your Stuff #390: Friendship, Paper Players #475--(a pretty liberal interpretation of the sketch), and Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Besotted by our Pets (My friend had a pet bird).

CASology Week #360...Crystal

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is CRYSTAL.

I fussy cut and colored the cat from Lawn Fawn Fortune Teller Tabby, and had her look into her crystal ball to predict a happy birthday.

Now it's your turn.  How does CRYSTAL inspire you?

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)

I hope you play along this week.

Please head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from our Guest Designer, Jan C. and the CASology design team.

CASology Week #357...Gingerbread

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is GINGERBREAD.  I couldn't decide if I should use a gingerbread house or gingerbread person....but ultimately decided to pull out this little gingerbread man set from Lawn Fawn.  I think that little guy on the right with the broken leg is so cute.

Now it's your turn.  How does GINGERBREAD inspire you?
