Happy Birthday Bird, Dogs and Cat

I finally found my mojo, and made 2 birthday cards for various challenges.

First up is this birthday card using an adorable flamingo from Paper Smooches Baby Birds stamps.  I also used the Blocks in Perspective stencil from Funky Fossil.  I am entering this card at Paper Smooches Animal Challenge, Freshly Made Sketches #427, CAS Colours & Sketches #362 and Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Stencil Fun.

My next card uses 3 different Lawn Fawn stamps to create a birthday card for the Lawn Faunatics #73 challenge.  I am also inspired by AAA Cards #161: Along the Edge and Dogs & Cats, Addicted to Stamps and More #381: Anything Goes, Inkspiration #208: Animal, and Shopping Our Stash #416: Happy Birthday.

CASology Week #215: Bark

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is bark.

I decided to paper piece this adorable dog from Lawn Fawn.  He is in his play bow position, just like my dog, who is a good dog and a lot of fun.

Happy 16th Birthday and Lawnscaping

My oldest daughter turns 16 today.  I cannot believe it.  Where has the time gone.  I made her a card using all shades of pink and purple--her favorite colors--and a bit of glitter, too.  What girl doesn't like glitter, right?  The driving age here in California is 16, and I am so very happy that she is not interested in driving at this point.  I must be providing good enough taxi service, and I'd like to keep it that way for at least another year.

Here is a peek at the inside of the card.  I used one of the PTI Movers and Shakers Poppers die from over a year ago...for the first time.   I think I'll use this die again.  Once I found the tutorial, it was actually quite easy to use and set up.

I have a little mini card and matching envelope for this week's Lawnscaping Challenge No. 67.  I just got the WR Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board, and I love it so much.  It is really quick and easy to use, and makes just the cutest little envelopes.  It is especially good with double sided paper.  

I used Critters in the Burb and Critters at the Dog Park for the mini card and MME The Sweetest Thing-Tangerine paper.

Speaking of Critters at the Dog Park, I need to run--I promised my daughter I'd take the dog to the dog park this morning.
