MFT and Lawn Fawn

Hello and happy Saturday.  I was inspired by the MFT Sketch Challenge #502 to make this cute puppy card, using some images I stamped at Tracey's house (has it been 2 years?  3 years?) from You Make My Tail Wag.  I am also entering this card at The Card Concept #138c: Dog Days of Summer, Festive Friday #FF0065: National Dog Day (red, black, paw print, dog, bone), Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Midsummer Blues, and Retro Rubber #141: Anything Goes.

I followed the same sketch from  MFT Sketch Challenge #502 and the colors from MFT Color #147 for my next card, featuring the adorable mice from Harvest Mouse.  I am also entering this card at Retro Rubber #141: Anything Goes (stamps are maybe 4 years old?).

Last up today is a card featuring these sweet hedgehogs, that came out of years long hibernation to play with me today.  I am playing along at Lawn Fawnatics #82, Inspired by...Critter 6 Pack, and Retro Rubber #141: Anything Goes (stamps are maybe 7-8 years old?).

My Crafty Weekend

Hello and happy Sunday.  What is the best thing to do when you are up crazy early with jet lag?  Make cards, of course!!

First up is a CAS birthday card that I am entering at Color Throwdown #557 and Addicted to Stamps and More #355.

I am entering this next card at Just Add Ink #471 where I was inspired by the yarn colors to do some color blocking with my new Altenew Layered Cityscape dies.  I am also entering this at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge of Clean and Simple.

My next card is for the challenge at A Blog Named Hero August:  Stretch Your Stamps.  I used a bookcase background stamp and cut it to use it as a frame.  I am also entering this card at AAA Birthdays #4:  For the Boys.

Time for some fall fun with the mice on my next card, where I have used an interpretation of the sketch at MFT Sketch Challenge #451, and rotated the sketch 90 degrees.

I stamped some brightly colored baby birds from Paper Smooches up the side of my next card, and I am entering it at the Paper Smooches August challenge and AAA Cards #147: Along the Edge.

And finally, a card inspired by all the laundry I did this week, after returning from vacation.  I am entering it at Lawn Fanatics #59:  Something See-Through, where I used their suggestion and used vellum on my washing machine, and the sketch at The Paper Players #496.

That's it for me today.  I had a wonderful vacation, but it is good to be back.

Time Out #90...Reminder...Happy Birthday

There is still time to play along with our current challenge at Time Out.  Our challenge this time is:

Autumn with the optional twist of Speed Stamping

I must admit that the optional twist of speed stamping slipped my mind as I made my card.  This card actually took forever.....I am happy with how it turned out, but I sort of wish I took advantage of the twist.

This card involved quite a bit of stamping, masking and coloring.  Just like these mice, I am eagerly awaiting the cooler weather of fall.

Please head over to Time Out to see more inspiration from our Design Team and Guest Designer. Our Guest Designer this week is Elaine, so please stop by her blog to see what she has created for this challenge. Happy Little Stampers is our sponsor for this challenge.  Details for the prize are on the Time Out Challenge Blog.

This challenge will run another week.  I hope you will take some Time Out of your busy schedule to play along with us.
