2 Cards from the Same Sketch

Hello and happy Monday.  I am squeaking in on the last day with two ideas for this week's CAS(E) This Sketch CTS#24

My first idea uses an old fashioned telephone from Hero Arts as well as the Hello definition from Hero Arts Dictionary Greetings.

My second card uses 5 different shades of blue Inktense pencils colored and blended with a water brush.  I masked a square area, and colored inside of the mask.  My balloon is colored with Copics.  I will also be entering this card into this week's Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge to use a color medium, and The Wonder of Watercolor Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.

  2. Two terrific cards for us, Joyce! Your watercoloring is fantastic in the current on-trend ombre colors! I have to say I'm extra keen on the hello card, however! It's so darn cute: vintage, unique, and fun!!

  3. Joyce both of your cards are amazing! I am in love with your fussy cut telephone. So perfect, it looks like a die. Your balloon card is just too cute and that coloring is so festive.

  6. Joyce...your cards are so cute. Isn't it amazing how different cards using the same basic sketch can look? Very nice job! I particularly like the one with the hot air balloon. I love hot air balloons and I love the color on that card. Love the blue square using the blended water color pencils. Love the Copic colored balloon. The little clouds popped on top of the blue square was a great idea, too! Thanks so much for sharing your cards with us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. <3 Candy
