Just Because

I'm back from a long weekend away, and have two cards to show you that I will be sending to my daughters at camp tomorrow.  I actually made these cards a while ago, but didn't have an occasion to send them until now.  They are CASED from this card by Mary Fish.

Card for Sarah

Card for Rachel
I used a very cute set from Stampin Up called Sweet Summer.  I love the look of white embossed on kraft, and plan to do more of this technique.  The cards are almost exactly the same, with the exception of the color scheme.

Mail Update:  If you have been following my blog, you know about the letters I was hoping to receive from camp.  The update so far is one "form letter postcard" required by the camp and one letter each.  It's only Tuesday, so let's hope the mailbox has more for me tomorrow.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  SU Sweet Summer, PTI Simple Sentiments
Paper:  PTI White, Kraft, Black, Hawaiian Shores
Other:  SU Pinking Hearts Border punch, ribbon from stash, jelly dots, rhinestones, white Zing embossing powder

Thanks for Visiting

  4. Both cards are adorable, the white looks great on the kraft paper. I think I just might call my Stampin Up girl and see what is new. Hope you get mail Joyce . Take care.

  8. Beautiful cards. Love both of the colors. I too like white stamped on kraft. At least you have daughters. Your chances of receiving mail are better than 50/50. Boys never write. When my son was younger I would write comments multiple choice format so all he had to do was check. Still no response.

  9. I knew those girls would be having too much fun to write! I love your cards and especially since I know the "back-story" about not using pink on Sarah's card!
