Two Flat Card Sets

Hello.  I was inspired by the challenge at Make it Monday #267 where we were encouraged to use assembly line card making.  I made two note card sets and a little pouch to hold them.  I stamped all the envelopes with just the tree and little bird, and you can see one of the envelopes in the upper right of this photo.

Each set contains 4 thank you cards--flat cards made from 1/4 piece of card stock.  The sentiment is from Wet Paint and the other images are from Holiday Folk.  I will enter these thank you cards at Simon Says Wednesday where the challenge is Thanks/Thanksgiving.

The other 4 cards all say just a note, and use the same stamps as the thank you cards.

Here is how the two sets look all packaged up.  I used a tutorial I saw at Splitcoast Stampers, although it turns out that the tutorial was for 4x4 cards, so I modified the measurements to fit my A2 sized cards.  The stamped bow is from Avery Elle Beautiful Bow.

I am going to enter these card sets at Addicted to Stamps and More #219.

This is what the pouches look like when they are opened up.

I am so pleased to be playing along with the team at CAS Colours & Sketches as their Guest Designer for the month of November.

This week, we have a sketch challenge for you.

I thought this sketch would work for a little scene, so I used my brand spanking new Mama Elephant City Sidewalks set to create a holiday card.

I am also entering this card at Addicted to Stamps and More #219 where the challenge is Clean and Simple.

Please had on over to CAS Colours & Sketches to see more inspiration from the Design Team.  I hope you will play along with us this week.

CASology #223: Team

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is team.  The biggest team sport in my house is soccer--playing it and watching it.  I used PTI Go for the Goal to make a soccer themed card.

Since my main image and sentiment are pretty small, I put them on a small raised panel, hightlighting them and making sure they are not lost in the vastness of white space on the card.

I am also linking this card up at Just Us Girls #368 where the challenge is the word 'Encouragement".

Now it's your turn.  How does team inspire you?  I hope you play along this week.  Please remember to keep it Clean and Simple.

Please head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from the design team.

It's time for another challenge at ColourQ.  I got a new stamp set from Stampin Up.  It is called Totally Trees and I am really loving it.  Can you tell that my sentiment is gold embossed?

I am also linking this card up at Cupcake Inspirations #383 where the challenge is trees.

My Crafty Weekend

I have 3 cards to share today.  First up is a paper pieced holiday card for the Poppystamps #26 Plaid is Rad challenge.

I used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #261.

For my next card I am playing along at Memory Box Challenge #18: Giving Thanks and AAA Cards #77: Thanks/Thanksgiving. I used a similar design to the one I used on this card.

Last up is a card using the remainder of the stamped panel that I made for this card.  I am playing along with the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch #197.

Time Out #69....Reminder...Thank You

There is still time to play along with our current challenge at Time Out.  Our challenge this time is
inspired by words.

Give thanks with a grateful heart.

I was inspired by this quote to make a thank you card, and I used a die that partially cut lots of little butterflies in the shape of a heart.  It is a Poppystamps die that Marybeth brought to my house and let me borrow when we got together this summer.

It is easier to see on the side view here, but I have some bright yellow card stock behind the die cut, so you can see a bit of sunshiney color behind the butterflies.

Please head over to Time Out to see more inspiration from our Design Team and Guest Designer. Our Guest Designer this week is Karren J., so please stop by her blog to see what she has created for this challenge.

This challenge will run another week.  I hope you will take some Time Out of your busy schedule to play along with us.

Guest Designer...CAS Colours & Sketches #198...Happy Birthday

I am so pleased to be playing along with the team at CAS Colours & Sketches as their Guest Designer for the month of November.

This week, we have a color challenge for you.

I used PTI colors that were the closest to the challenge colors....Ripe Avocado, Canyon Clay, and Cocoa Bean.  These colors had a masculine fall feel to me, so I stamped an argyle pattern on a piece of card stock, but then cut it down and only used half.  I'll use the other piece on something else.

I am also entering this card at AAA Cards Challenge #76, where the challenge is Masculine (and where I am also this week's Guest Designer), and at Less is More #300 where they are celebrating 300 challenges---Congrats!!

Please had on over to CAS Colours & Sketches to see more inspiration from the Design Team.  I hope you will play along with us this week.

CASology Week #222: Welcome

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is welcome.  I immediately thought of a house warming card, welcoming someone to their new home.

I used some house die cuts that I cut from Memory Box Halloween house dies that Marybeth brought to our stamping day this summer.

Now it's your turn.  How does welcome inspire you?  I hope you play along this week.  Please remember to keep it Clean and Simple.

Please head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from the design team.
