I'm posting on a Saturday this week because I had such a crafty week.
Here is one of the highlights of my week--my CASology teammate, Jacquie, came over on Wednesday for a little crafty fun. Of course, Sherlock wanted in on everything.
Jacquie brought some of her stash over, and I was eager to play with some of her stuff. I loved these funny looking fish from Avery Elle. I made that watery background using Distress Oxide inks that I had to buy after playing with them at Tracey's house. I am entering this card at Freshly Made Sketches #335 and CAS on Friday #132 to Use a Cute Stamp.
Jacquie brought a Spellbinders die of birds on a wire, and I was inspired by CAS(E) This Sketch #270.
I was inspired by the challenge at Memory Box #37 to pull out my Darla Butterfly die and make this sympathy card. I cut the butterfly once out of orange card stock and then again out of vellum, and used an impression plate to give all over texture to my card front.
I pulled out some patterned paper and my Poppystamps Stitched Elephant die for my next card, which is inspired by the Pattern Paper Please challenge at Poppystamps #44. I am also entering this card at Seize the Birthday.
Last up is the card I made for this week's Make it Monday #321: Ink Blending on Colored Cardstock.
I have tried experimenting with flat lay photography this week. What do you think? I am still trying to figure out how to better stage my photos and how to avoid shadows. If you have any tips, please let me know.
Thanks for Visiting
