Birthday and Graduation

Hello and happy Monday.  I am playing along at CASual Fridays #139, where they are celebrating their 4th birthday with a color challenge.  I am also playing along with another birthday celebration, this one at AAA Cards, where they are celebrating their 1st birthday.  I used the sketch at Happy Little Stampers.

I started working on my graduation cards this weekend--along with my oldest daughter, we have several graduations coming up this spring.  I had fun finally breaking out my Retro Style stamps.

Just a Little Something

I have a card for this week's Dynamic Duos #6 challenge and also for Less is More #71.  I interpreted the dynamic duos colors as PTI Hibiscus Burst and Amuse Slate.  The challenge for Less is More is to make a one layer card and to use a flourish.  

I'd like to thank the gals at dynamic duos, especially Kim, for my honourable mention shout out last week for this card.  That was certainly exciting for me.

I took my little used Fancy Flourishes set from PTI and just started playing around.  I wanted to see what I could make by repeating one of the flourishes.  I ended up making this swishy flower out of one of the medium sized flourishes in the set.  I finished the card off with a sentiment from my new-to-me Big & Bold Wishes set that I bought on the PTI Forum from my friend Renee.
