CAS on Friday Guest Designer...May You Find Comfort & Peace

I am so happy to be posting today as a Guest Designer at CAS on Friday because I was the winner of a previous challenge with this card.

The challenge this week is to Use Your Favorite Flower Stamp.  I have so many flower stamps, and many of them are my favorites....what to choose.....  I decided to use PTI Year of Flowers Gladiolus.  It is one of my favorites, and quite old and well loved.  It hasn't seen ink for a while, so that is how I chose it.

This card is so very simple.  I stamped the large flower image slightly off the page, and then colored it with Copic markers.  I used a sentiment from The Greetery Cotton Comforts, and cut and popped up one bit of the sentiment, just to give the card a little bit of dimension and texture.  That is it....Clean and Simple.  I made it a sympathy card, as those seem to be in most demand these days, unfortunately.

I hope you will play along with CAS on Friday.  I look forward to seeing everyone's favorite flower stamps.

I am also entering this card at AAA Cards #164: One Image with optional twist Inspired by TV (remember all those fabulous gardening and landscaping shows in the early days of HGTV?),  Retro Rubber #133: Anything Goes (I think I've had this stamp for 8 years or so), and Addicted to Stamps and More #387: Make Your Mark.

Thanks for Visiting

I love your elegant and beautiful CAS card, the flowers are lovely and they look amazing in those shades of blue.
The sentiment is comforting and you are correct, these cards are unfortunately, in demand.
