CASology Week #369...Wind

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is WIND.  When I first saw the cue word, all I could think of was wind blowing.  I was stumped.  How to show wind on a card.  And, why?  But, then I saw a card of Sandie's for a different challenge, and immediately knew that I was reading the word wrong.  How about unwind, as in relax.  Or wind as in yarn for knitting.

I pulled out some old PTI stamps and quickly created this card.

Now it's your turn.  How does WIND inspire you?

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)

I hope you play along this week.

Please head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from the CASology design team.

Thanks for Visiting

  1. Thank you for the shout out Joyce! Love the way you used the sentiment here-perfection. Plus the subtle stamping of the glass x

  2. Clever take on the cue card, Joyce! I love how you stamped the sentiment over-lapping the glass and your color palette is fabulous! Thanks for 'always' inspiring me to play along :)

  3. This is absolutely fabulous!!!! Love this card, you are so clever.

  4. Oh, you're right, this could go either way! But I like the direction you took, it's terrific!

  5. Oh I LOVE the way you interpreted this word!! This is fabulous. LOVE that stamp set you used!!

  6. I thought blowing wind too, Joyce, but this is a perfect take on the alternate pronunciation.

  7. I have this set, too! I never would have put it together with the cue word, so kudos to you! Love the clean and simple design... I'll be saving this one for inspiration!

  8. The perfect sentiment for WIND, love it!
