Four-of-a-Kind #17 (April, 2013)

Can you believe we are already half way through April?  I know I am having a hard time believing it, especially as the weather today is rainy--something that is only supposed to occur here in the winter.  The good news about mid-April is that it is time for our quarterly group post for Four-of-a-Kind--or "The Big Reveal".

This is the first month that Marybeth from Marybeth's Time for Paper will be joining us.  I'm so excited to be playing with Marybeth--she is a fabulous addition to our group. Our hostess this month is Kim, from Cupcakes, Cards, and Kim, and she sent us this enormous and beautiful kit featuring stamps from Paper Smooches and Family Ties patterned paper from Pebbles. Here is a picture of Kim's kit.

Here are my cards.  As usual, I have plenty of leftovers, even though I made 7 cards.

Well, that's it for me.  Thank you so much, Kim, for sending such a wonderful kit.  And, my cards were almost all pretty much self-assembling, so thanks also for sending me the magical kit.    I still have leftovers from my kit, so I am excited to see what everyone else did, so I can CASE them.  And, here is a link to my pinterest board where I pin everyone's Four-of-a-Kind creations.

The other three members of Four-of-a-Kind are:

Cathy Weber:  Empty Nest Crafter
Kim Heggins:  Cupcakes, Cards and Kim
Marybeth Lopez: Marybeth's Time for Paper

Please stop by their blogs, if you haven't been there already, and see what they have created for their April Four-of-a-Kind projects.

Thanks for Visiting

  3. Joyce, each and everyone of your self assembling cards is amazing!! And you made 7 cards too, wow. I love your first card with the conversation bubbles and those leaves behind the negative one, it gives the illusion that there are lots of sweet little birds chatting about there worm selection for the day. Your fussy cutting it amazing too, so perfect and precise. I love how you cut the cutting plate apart, very clever and a great way to more use from it. As always, incredible cards Joyce!

  8. Hey Joyce, I peeked earlier, and now I am back to tell you how wonderful your cards are. Your first woodgrain card is adorable, with the speech bubbles. We were on the same page cutting out the butterfly and the tail. Love the way you used the green die only on the side of the page. You are a pro at putting together patterned paper!
