Clean & Simple Card Making (2) Day 5+

I've got my cards for day 5, which is one stamp three ways.  The actual assignment was to think of three ways, and make one of them.  I dug out a stamp that is new to me because I won it a while back, and had so much fun playing with it, that I ended up making the three cards with it.  I used Hero Arts Blooming Meadow for the image, and PTI Botanical Silhouettes for the sentiments.

I embossed the stamp in white, and the sentiment in black, and used distress inks to blend color into the background for my first card.

For the second card, I used a piece of white card stock that was only slightly bigger than the stamp, and sponged only one color of distress ink over the stamped and embossed image.

For my third card, I used the same layout as the card above, but changed the paper to kraft.  This stamped image did not really lend itself to coloring, so I added tiny rhinestones to the centers of some of the flowers.  It had a more cheery feel, so I used a birthday sentiment.

Here they are all together.

Next, I have a card for this week's Waltzingmouse Monday Morning Make:  DIY Washi Tape. I used Musical Backgrounds and Pic Nic Patterns for two of the tapes, and just colored the third tape with a Copic marker.

Last up are a couple more pillow boxes for this week's Make it Monday #102:  Pillow Box Stamping and Assembly.  This one will hold an Apple itunes gift card for my daughter's friend's birthday.

And, some more Valentines pillow boxes:

That's it for me today.  Let me know if you have questions about anything I used.  I'm too lazy to write out all those supplies.

The current challenge at Simon Says Stamp is 'Anything Goes', and I will be entering all of these projects into that challenge.

Thanks for Visiting
