25 Days of Christmas Tags 2018...Day 8

Welcome to Day 8 of The 25 Tags of Christmas Tags 2018.  If you are just arriving for the first time, all the details and the linkup can be found HERE.

Our sponsor for Day 8 is Uniko.

I fell in love with this modern, graphic looking Christmas tree in a stamp set called Rustic Christmas.

First, I used that Christmas tree in a very traditional way, to make a wine bottle tag.  I masked off the right side of the wine bottle tag and sponged the left side with a few different shades of green Distress Ink.  Then, I stamped the Christmas Tree over the sponged area, careful to make sure that some of the tree ran off of both sides of the green.  I stamped the sentiment in red ink on a scrap, and used foam tape to pop it up.

I also had fun using that Christmas tree as more of an abstract graphic element and just stamped a few patterns.

This is still a Christmas tag, but I think that if you didn't know it was a tree stamped in multiple colors, you couldn't guess it from this tag.

One more just for fun, featuring those tiny birds in red.

25 Days of Christmas Tags 2018...Day 7

Welcome to Day 7 of The 25 Tags of Christmas Tags 2018.  If you are just arriving for the first time, all the details and the linkup can be found HERE.

Our sponsor for Day 7 is Birch Press.

Birch Press has some really amazing layering dies, and the die set I used is called Radiant Ornament.  I layered this die using PTI papers in Hawaiian Shores, Hibiscus Burst, and Limeade Ice.  They are non-traditional Christmas Colors, but I love how they look together.

CASology Week #320...Compliment

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is COMPLIMENT.

Time to finish off a card I started in Canada with Tracey and Kim.  I just love this flamingo and the quote I paired with it.  I have no idea what stamps I used, but I really love this sentiment.

Now it's your turn.  How does COMPLIMENT inspire you?  I hope you play along this week.  Please remember to keep it Clean and Simple.

Please head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from the design team.

25 Days of Christmas Tags 2018...Day 6

Welcome to Day 6 of The 25 Tags of Christmas Tags 2018.  If you are just arriving for the first time, all the details and the linkup can be found HERE.

Our sponsor for Day 6 is Paper Sweeties.

I used Deck the Halls for this tag.  I fell in love this this darling bird house, and just had to set up with some glittery snow on the roof and colorful Christmas lights.

25 Days of Christmas Tags 2018...Day 5

Welcome to Day 5 of The 25 Tags of Christmas Tags 2018.  If you are just arriving for the first time, all the details and the linkup can be found HERE.

Our sponsor for Day 5 is Newton's Nook.

I used Canine Christmas stamps to create my tags.  I just fell in love with all these cute dogs.  I colored with Copics and fussy cut each dog, before adhering them to the tag.

Here is a closer look at that basset hound (I think that is what he is).

This tag took a little more work, since I wanted my doggie to be delivering a bunch of happy mail.  I just stamped and cut out the letter a bunch of times, and then piled them up so you could not see that I was missing one of the edges.

25 Days of Christmas Tags 2018...Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of The 25 Tags of Christmas Tags 2018.  If you are just arriving for the first time, all the details and the linkup can be found HERE.

Our sponsor for Day 4 is Reverse Confetti.

I used their brand spanking new Christmas Circles stamps.  To be honest, I first looked at those circles and had no idea what to do with them.  Then, I started stamping, and just couldn't stop.  They are so very fun.

My first project was to make a holiday wine bottle tag.  This will be great to have on hand for any holiday party I get invited to.

I made a similar tag using blue and green, and switching up the orientation.

Here's a tag using a more traditional tag shape.  After I made this one, I thought it looked a bit like a Master Card ad.  Maybe I'll make a couple more of these in other colors.

And, last up are 2 more tags using some of my very favorite colors together.  Here is a hint on how to stretch your stamps with this stamp set.  See the solid green circles on the tag on the left?  I made those by using the reverse side of the stamp.

25 Days of Christmas Tags 2018...Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of The 25 Tags of Christmas Tags 2018.  If you are just arriving for the first time, all the details and the linkup can be found HERE.

Our sponsor for Day 3 is Concord & 9th.

I used their fabulous Holiday Cheer Stamps and Dies to make these sweet little tags.  The red tag is especially fun, as it is also an envelope and the inner tag comes out.  I think that will come in handy to hold a little bit of Christmas cash (or in my case, some Chanukah Gelt!)

25 Days of Christmas Tags 2018...Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of The 25 Tags of Christmas Tags 2018.  If you are just arriving for the first time, all the details and the linkup can be found HERE.

Our sponsor for Day 2 is Altenew.

I created 2 tags using Altenew Poinsettia & Pine stamps.  A bit of fussy cutting and some quick Copic coloring, and my tags were done.

Here is just the pinecone tag.

And now, just the Poinsettia tag.

25 Days of Christmas Tags 2018...Day 1

Happy November.  The big day is finally here!  I am so excited to be part of Tracey's team for her annual "25 Days of Christmas Tags 2018".  Here is a picture of the team.  I am pinching myself  that I am part of this group.

Each day through the month of November, I will be posting a tag using supplies by our sponsor for the day.  Today, we are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp.

Here is the tag I made for today, using Simon Says Stamps Furry Christmas.  It's an older set, and one of my favorites.  I colored the animals with Copics, then fussy cut them and attached them to a PTI Quilted Tag.
