Age and Glasses of Wine...

Midway through a long weekend, and I have a card to post!  Yay, since I haven't had a lot of crafting time lately.  This card is going to my brother in law, a wine lover.

I was inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #294, and I am also entering it at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Anything Goes.

Time Out #86...Reminder...Mazel Tov (part II)

CASology Week #255: Fly

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is fly.  I had a hard time deciding which flying thing to feature.  Then, I looked up and saw a bunch of hot air balloons, and I knew I had to pull out an oldie but goodie--Up, Up and Away.

I will soon have two daughters at college in Maine, so this card will definitely come in handy.

Papertrey June 2017 Blog Hop

I am popping in with a quick card for this month's PTI Blog Hop.  Here is the inspiration photo.

I was inspired by the jars and flowers, so pulled out Friendship Jar stamps and dies.  I think this may be the first time I have used the flower die.  My sentiment will need to go inside, as I didn't have room for it on the card front.

Time Out #86...Mazel Tov

It's time for a new challenge at Time Out.  Our challenge this time is:

 Celebrations with the optional twist of one layer cards.

Our sponsor this time is CAS-ual Fridays, and they were kind enough to provide stamps to some of us for our inspiration cards.  I used a fun new set called Mazel Tov, and it was the perfect set for the card I made for my niece on the occasion of her Bat Mitzvah last month.  

I actually cut apart her invitation, and used it as part of the focal point for my card.  The white and gold portion is from her invitation, and I heat embossed in the sentiment Mazel Tov (means congratulations) in gold, and then fussy cut it and adhered it with foam tape.  She was thrilled that I used her invitation as part of her card.
