25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019...Day 19

Welcome to Day19 of The 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019.  If you are arriving for the first time, all the details and the link up can be found HERE.

Our sponsor for Day19 is Paper Smooches.

I had fun playing with the Paper Smooches Gingerbread House die.

Here I cut a white house with a red door and windows, and adhered it to a kraft die cut from the Quote Tag Dies.  I've had these dies forever, and they are absolutely perfect when I want a slightly larger tag.

Here is a more traditional gingerbread house, cut from kraft card stock with some delicious rainbow gumdrops for a roof.  I cut the gumdrops out of white, and colored them with Copic markers.

I had some fun playing with the Paper Smooches Joy Die.  On this tag, I substituted the 'O' in JOY with a little snowman from Swanky Snowdude.  I know that's not a terribly original thing to do, but it did make me smile.

And, now for some cards.  Well, if a snowman can sub in for an 'O', then how about a penguin?  This one is from Winter Grooves, which I think may be discontinued.

And, the Gingerbread folk have emerged from their gingerbread houses to wish you a happy birthday.

Please head over to Tracey's blog for more information on how you can join in on the fun and get a chance to win a prize.

Paper Smooches Sparks

I've got a card today for this week's Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge.  This week is a trend challenge, and here is our inspiration photo:

I am slowly building up my Paper Smooches stamp collection, so I can have more sets to choose from.  I used 3 different sets on this card--Winter Grooves, Swanky Snowdudes, and Sentiment Sampler.

I'm still working on gift tags.  Here are some tags I made using Hero Arts Christmas Owl, with some supporting roles played by various stamps and dies by PTI.

I've got to run now.  There are two teenaged girls (im)patiently waiting to light the Menorah.  Tonight is the first night of Chanukah--Happy Chanukah!!

ColourQ #165

I have a card for this week's ColourQ.  I have to admit that at first I did not see these colors working together at all.  But after playing with them, I have completely changed my mind.  That penguin is covered in Paper Glaze, which isn't showing up well in the picture.

Paper:  PTI White, Pure Poppy, Aqua Mist Pattern
Ink:  Pure Poppy, Hibiscus Burst, New Leaf, Aqua Mist, Memento: London Fog, Tuxedo Black
