CASology Week #366...Zodiac

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is ZODIAK.  This was a tough one for me.  I decided to make a card with a lion inspired by one of the signs of the zodiac....Leo the Lion.

Now it's your turn.  How does ZODIAK inspire you?


As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:

1. One main image
2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
3. Limited layers & embellishments
4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)

Time Out #99...Reminder...Welcome Little One

There is still time to play along with our current challenge at Time Out.  Our challenge this time is

New Beginnings with the optional twist to use your Christmas stamps for this Non-Christmas theme.

I used PTI Jungle Buddies stamps and dies to make this baby card.  There is just something about giraffes that say 'new baby' to me.

While I was at it, I made a second card in a different color scheme.

CASology Week #261: Safari

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is SAFARI.  I have never been on a real safari, but San Diego Zoo Safari Park is a pretty good substitute.  A lot closer than an African safari, and a place I used to take my kids to when they were younger.

This cue word gave me a good opportunity to pull out a new set from PTI called Jungle Buddies.   This lion looks way friendlier than the ones I saw at the zoo, and I added some teeny googlie eyes, just for fun.
