Hello and happy Thursday. I had a bit of a play in my craft room yesterday, and my first order of business was to pull out my under used MFT Cats and Plants Kit. Not a very catchy name, but don't let that fool you...the cats and plants in the kit are really fun. I used some of the elements of this kit, plus the English Brick Wall stencil to create my first card, which was inspired by the sketch at MFT Sketch Challenge #548.
I pulled out my old glitter tubes and mad a big mess with this next card. I was inspired by the technique in this video of Jennifer McGuire's. I used my Xyron machine, as I didn't have double sided adhesive sheets. This card is way more bright and sparkly in person, so I paired it with a 'congratulation' sentiment. I was inspired by the colors at Color Throwdown #649.
Last up is a card for The Great Cover Up, where the challenge is to create a card using only dies. I grabbed one of my newer sentiment dies from PTI and die cut it out of patterned paper and again out of red cardstock. I inlaid the red die into the patterned paper, and backed it all with Melon Berry, another prominent color in my patterned paper. Although many travel restrictions have been eased, I am still sending long distance hugs to family and friends.
The challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is Anything Goes, so I am entering all 4 of these creations in that challenge.
Thanks for Visiting
