December Avery Elle Challenge

I am playing in the first Avery Elle challenge--and I may even be the very first player.  How exciting.  The challenge is to create a project that 'sums up your personal paper crafting style'.  Wow, that is a tall order.  I'm not sure that I achieved all that, but here is what I did.  I incorporated some of the things that seem to characterize most of my cards:

• CAS
• Lots of White Space
• Bold, Bright, or Dark Colors  (hardly ever pastels)
• Texture
• Dimension

I used my two favorite (and only) Avery Elle stamp sets for this card.

I think it looks like me.  What do you think?

10 Minute Craft Dash #6

Color Challenges with Avery Elle

I ordered my second Avery Elle set (To the Point) the other day.  It arrived at my house the next day.  Talk about fast shipping.  I decided to play around with some color challenges.

This week's ColourQ color scheme screamed Halloween, but I didn't feel like making any Halloween cards.  I don't know why.  So I decided to see if I could use the colors in a different way.  I only have two Avery Elle sets, but they work so perfectly well together.  This card uses Framed Fonts and To the Point. 

Birthday

Once I got going, I had some more ideas about how to play with these two sets.  I used this week's Color Throwdown #213 to make two more cards.  For the first card, I used a Spellbinders circle die to cut a space for the sentiment, and raised the front panel just a bit with dimensionals.
