CASology Week #338...Plastic

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is PLASTIC.

Many wonderful things are made of plastic, it is true, but the images that turned up when I Googled 'PLASTIC' put me in the mood to think about recycling.

I pulled out a stamp (a freebie, I think) from Serendipity Stamps and layered it with it in a craft circle.  My use of kraft and green is a deliberate choice to reinforce my message of being kind to our earth and to recycle.

Now it's your turn.  How does PLASTIC inspire you?

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)

I hope you play along this week.

Please head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from the our Guest Designer Francesca and the CASology design team.

Thanks for Visiting

  1. Fabulous card--love your message!

  2. I think I got one of those stamps but I don't know what I did with it. Your choice to use it for the challenge was a great idea, Joyce.

  3. Clever take on the cue card, Joyce! I love your layered circles and using green for your sentiment is so clever :)

  4. Fabulous card and I totally agree with the message... there is so much plastic that gets recycled in our house xx

  5. I love this card Joyce! No greater message about the good of recycling!
