CASology Week 120: SEA

Hello and happy Tuesday.  It's time for another CASology challenge, and our cue word this week is SEA.  How fun is that?  Did you know that the town I live in is called Cardiff-by-the-Sea?  Yes, I can pop down to the beach any day I please, and I don't think a day goes by that I do not see the ocean as I am walking around or driving around just going about my business.  I know that I am truly spoiled.

Anyway, back to card business, my stash of baby boy cards has dwindled down to absolutely nothing, so I used this challenge as an opportunity to pull out my sweet Whale from Whale Wishes to create a baby boy card.  For some reason, the colors are completely off--that little strip in the middle is only a slightly darker shade of blue in real life, and I created it by stamping a plaid pattern on a little strip of card stock using Waltzingmouse Offbeat Backgrounds.

My card design was inspired by this sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch.

Now, it is your turn.  What do you think of when you see the word SEA?  Does it make you want to come and visit me?  Have some fun with the cue word SEA, and then please link up your creation on the CASology blog by Monday at noon (CST).

Check out the beautiful designs from the CASology Design Team members and see how they were inspired by SEA.  Don't forget to keep your card Clean and Simple.
