Paws for a Cause Card

My card for today uses the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch CTS#58 and my new Paper Smooches Paws for a Cause stamps.  I am submitting to the Anything Goes challenge at Paper Smooches Sparks as well as the Simon Says Monday Challenge to use a stamp.

I thought this dog silhouette was especially cute, because it kind of looks like the puppy we rescued.  Now that I am looking at the card, I am sort of wondering about the sentiment--am I supposed to give this card to the dog?  My dog can't even read.  But he sure is sweet.  He keeps me company in my craft room.  He has made himself right at home.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Paper Smooches Paws for a Cause
Paper:  PTI Kraft, Fine Linen
Ink:  Versafine Vintage Sepia, Onyx Black
Dies:  Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangles

Thanks for Visiting

  6. Um, Joyce. Um. When I saw your, ahem, puppy with his paws out, well, someone has to tell you, that is not a puppy, dear, that is a colt. Yes, no, I'm certain. It's been bred to look deceptively like a German Shepherd breed, but it's actually a Siberian Corghinese Stallionneire, originally bred for royalty. It's a gorgeous specimen, but you might want to check into your city ordinances re keeping horses as pets. You're welcome. The fines can be steep, but it will all balance out with the prize money you'll receive from showing him!

Your card is darling! Oh, goodness, that reminds me! These rare horses CAN read! Only not until they are three years old, so do save it for him in a scrapbook!

I've missed several of your posts what with the holiday madness, and I've just enjoyed catching up with you. I also want to thank you for your online friendship and all your visits and support this year! Holly Jolly Hugs! Darnell
