Happy Monday and first day of July. Summer is in full swing here. My first card today is for the sketch portion of this week's Fusion Challenge #13. I used the colors of this week's Play Date Cafe PDCC #188, Lavender Moon, SU Pretty in Pink, and SU Strawberry Slush. I am also entering this card into this week's A Blog Named Hero #27 challenge to use your favorite Hero Arts stamp. Really--are they kidding--how could I pick a favorite? Today my favorite is this Hero Arts Blossom Art set, since it is my newest set. Honestly, to play this challenge properly, I should make a card per day (for a long time)--and I just may try to do that.
Edited to add: I am also entering this card into the challenge this month at Die Cut Divas, which is to use flowers and a die cut anywhere on your card. Hannah at Die Cut Divas was kind enough to tell me that this card was eligible for their challenge this month, and that I was the random winner for July.
My next card is inspired by the Monday Mood Board #15 at WPlus9. I was inspired by the craft, black and gold color scheme, as well as the black tag embossed in gold. I used Paisley Patterns stamped in Brilliance Galaxy Gold and Versafine Onyx Black. The gold stamping is a bit hard to see, in the photo, but it is there in person. I embossed my sentiment in gold on black cardstock.
Last up for me today is a card for this week's Color Throwdown CTD248 and CAS-ual Fridays CFC107: Hunger Games to use an arrow. I wanted to pull out my new Live Love Life stamp set, and was inspired by this card by Dawn during the release.
Simon Says Stamp and Show has a new challenge up today--Anything Goes--so I will also be entering all of these cards into that challenge as well.

I have 5 cards to share for today--and the first card is not for any challenge at all--just something I felt like making (crazy, right?). I was inspired by this layout I saw during a recent PTI blog hop. I used a bit of this incredibly gorgeous ribbon that Kim sent me and I have been hoarding ever since.
Next up is a card for this week's Simon Says Masculine/Father's day and A Blog Named Hero It's A Man's World. This is a very simple card I made to send to a good friend's brother who is about to undergo some pretty nasty treatment for cancer. The bottom section is patterned paper--I wish I could stamp that evenly.
Edited to add: I am also submitting this to the current challenge at Die Cut Divas.
I have another card for this week's ColourQ cQc #192 because I had to use the extra piece of plaid I stamped when I made this card. I used my newest stamp purchase--WPlus9 Fresh Cut Florals.
My last card is for The Play Date Cafe PDCC185, Cas-ual Fridays CFC104: Banners & Flags, Freshly Made Sketches FMS89, and Make it Monday #119: Flagged Borders. I was inspired by this card of Kim's. I actually wanted to make the very same card as Kim, but forced myself to change it up a bit.

Hi. Just a quick post with two cards for challenges that are near ending. I used Sketched Shapes in the colors of this week's Play Date Cafe PDCC#183 to make another Father's Day card for my stash. I was inspired by Erin Lincoln's card here. After several unsuccessful tries at getting the pattern and alignment right, I decided to just cut all the triangles, stamp them, and then arrange them. Much easier. I am finding that those images are not the easiest to line up.
And, one for the Mother's Day stash. I am in love with this Hero Arts Dogwood stamp, and really love the inspiration card from last week's CASE Study by Maile Belles. I could not directly copy her that week, but the challenge is over, so I am copying her now for this week's A Blog Named Hero CAS Challenge #24.

I have two cards today, and I will be submitting both of them to this week's Simon Says ...Happy Mail Challenge.
My first card follows the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch CTS#26 and uses the color scheme of this week's Play Date Cafe PDCC#180. I cut three party dresses from my new Memory Box Taylor Party Dress die, dressed them up a bit with some Diamond Stickles and they are ready to go out on the town. I added two score lines under the middle panel. The card just seemed to need something. This dress is just so adorable, and I would love to find one in real life for one of my daughters. They are both tall and slim, and they would look absolutely fabulous in a dress like this.
My next card is another entry into this week's Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge Anything Goes. I hope that you are not tired of this sort of card--this is the third I have made since seeing it in my Pattern Play class. I changed it up just a tiny bit, and added this adorable wooden bird from Prima.

Happy Monday everyone. I have a card to share today for this week's Fusion #4 challenge, where I am taking my inspiration from the sketch. My colors are from this week's Play Date Cafe #179. I used a little trick I learned along the way--I cut my card base down to 4 inches, so that I could have some flower and leaf overhang, but the card will still fit in a standard envelope.
Please come back tomorrow--it's posting day for my 12 Kits of Holiday group, and we will be showing Christmas cards using supplies sent by Sharron.
Supplies Used (PTI):
Stamps: Friends Till the End, Asian Fusion, Background Basics Text Style
Paper: White
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, SU Garden Green & Pretty In Pink, Versafine Onyx Black
Other: Copic markers, Friends Till the End dies

This is my second post today. Please scroll down or click here for my Waltzingmouse Blog Party card.
The house was pretty quiet this weekend, with my noisiest daughter gone on a school trip. I had lots of time to play with my new (and old) stamps, and catch up on some of my favorite challenges.
First up is a card for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch CTS#19, using this week's Color Throwdown CTD233 colors. I ordered the new Folk Art Medallion from Waltzingmouse, and couldn't wait to get inky with it.
I knew I wanted to do a striped pattern with Watercolor Wonder for this week's Dynamic Duos DD#44, but couldn't choose between two ideas of what to do next. I made them both, but I guess I must be dieting, because neither one uses the dessert option of ribbon.
My next two cards use the colors for this week's Play Date Cafe PDCC#173. I discovered a pretty good coral ink in my stash--Versacolor Old Rose, and have been using that ever since I returned my PTI Melon Berry because it was too brown.
This first card is also for this week's challenge at A Blog Named Hero: Free Style.
I broke out my PTI Guidelines II set, and discovered how fun and easy it is to stamp a beautiful geometric pattern. Thanks, Kate, for all the inspiration--you are the reason I finally caved and bought this set. I also finally learned how to use my Bow Easy by watching this video, and I think the bow on this card is my best ever.
I am squeaking in just in time with my next card for this week's Paper Smooches Designer Drafts Challenge.
Last for today is a card for this week's Retro Sketches RS#55. This week's sketch is based on a card by Laurie, and I love the fact that I could highlight and use some of my huge stash of patterned paper.
Speaking of patterned paper, I am very excited about the Pattern Play class I am taking starting tomorrow. I hope to see some familiar names and faces as I learn how to better use all that patterned paper I love to buy.
