Weekend Wrap Up

Hello and happy Sunday.  I'm here to post a couple of cards before the challenges end.

First up is a card I made using the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #218.  I created my red border using PTI Half and Half dies, and die cut the word 'hugs' from the die cut on the left.

I built both sides up with several white layers for dimension and because I did not want the embossed hearts to show inside the Hugs die cut.

I am also linking this card up at The Card Concept #46 A Warm Heart.

This week's Make it Monday #236 allowed me the opportunity to go back to a previous MIM technique.  I chose MIM #209: White on White Die Cuts with a pop of color.

I used the colors in Color Throwdown #374, and used a new stamp and die set from PTI, One Big Happy.

I am also linking this card up at Seize the Birthday: Anything Goes, and Simon Says Stamp Monday and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday, where the challenge for both is Something New.

Last up is a holiday card for next year that I made when I had all the supplies out for this card.

I am entering this card at CAS on Sunday #74: Winter and Christmas Card Challenges #6: Anything Goes.

Thanks for Visiting

  19. Somebody placed an order with PTI. At least that's how I got my 'happy' die. It looks wonderful in this technique, Joyce, with the loopy Y's and stemmed P's working so well together. That half and half die was just perfect for the FMS challenge and I love your cardinal in the woods.
