Birthday, Thank You and Get Well Cards

Hello.  I have been working on lots of fun cards, but I needed to take a pause because a couple of challenges are ending soon.

Sorry for the dark photo, but my camera does not like Summer Sunshine (or any other yellow/orange color).  I was inspired by several challenges for this card.

I used the new sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch #154, and I am also submitting this card at Simon Says Stamp Monday and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenges, both of which have Something New as their challenge.  I used PTI Stacked Sentiments on this card, a new purchase for me.

I am also entering this card at Inkspirational #99 Thank You with Something New and Just Us Girls #324 Thank You.

Next up is a trio of cards.  I started with the idea to use my Quilt Cuts dies from WPlus9 for their Throwback Thursday #10 challenge and decided to use the colors from CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #155.

I needed to die cut three different colors of paper, so decided to make three cards so I would not have any wasted pieces.

I am also entering one of these cards at The Male Room #26 Anything Goes.

Last up is actually the first card I made, inspired by this fun card by my friend Michele over at Muse #147.

Michele's Inspiration Card

I pulled out PTI On Ice and some patterned paper to make a birthday card for my neice who is a figure skater.

You can see that I was inspired by Michele's design, her use of patterned paper, an oval focal point and a die cut popped up next to the sentiment.

I am also entering this card at Curtain Call Frozen, and Seize the Birthday Anything Goes.

Thanks for Visiting

  10. Joyce,
I see you still are busy making multiple cards at a time. Love the one you did for your niece. I am sure she is going to love it. Personalizing birthday cards are the best. I try but don't always have the right stamp. However, I do have tons of birthday stamps so I tend to use them

  17. Where to start, Joyce, where to start? I guess I'll start with the quilt cards since I love quilts and made one for the challenge, too. Yours are so crisp and clean and the sentiments fit perfectly underneath them. The stacked Thanks is so bright and cheery and the skate card is perfect for your niece.
