It's time for our January 12 Kits of Occasions post. This month, Lindsey is our hostess again, and she sent a wonderful and enormous kit, filled with cute, fun and elegant supplies. Her theme is Celebrating You, and I had so much fun playing with everything in the kit. Of course, I have lots of leftovers as well. I can't wait to see what everyone else did with their supplies so I can CASE them with my leftovers.

Lindsey sent quite a few adorable critters, and I had fun playing with some of them.
Lindsey also included elements for some more elegant cards. So much pretty gold and glitter.
I used so many of the elements in this kit, but still have so much left over. Thanks so much, Lindsey, for sending such a wonderful kit.

ReplyDeleteLooks like you were on a creative streak too Joyce! I love all the little critters you used.. they're super cute! Especially the three little guys in a row with the signs! I think my fave is the one with the bouquet.. you have me all fooled thinking its CAS, but it has so many little extras.. embossing, dimension, GOLD, and the pretty flowers. What can I say? total sucker for flowers!

ReplyDeleteLook at all these beauties this month!! I couldn't figure out how to use that delicate flower overlay, but you used it just right. I love that sweet little elephant card, and the owls together on that star background just make me smile :)

ReplyDeleteJoyce so many beautiful cards with Lindsey's kit! I love how you used you're my favorite it looks fabulous with that paper! I didn't use the gold cover plate because I wanted to see what everyone else did with it! Gorgeous, all of them!

ReplyDeleteKnew you might use the owls! They look so adorable with the die cut panel. Just love all your critter designs! All the gold creations are gorgeous. My favorite is the one with the bouquet--so lovely with the embossing and great sentiment.
ReplyDeleteJoyce, your cards are so fantastic! I love that although we used different critters, we came up with very similar cards layering them atop the star panel with the banner below. And do you ever know how to use gold in the most gorgeous ways?! I love them all, especially the one with the bouquet...talk about perfect sequins placement! And the stitched dies you used on all your fabulous critter cards is so fun.
