25 Days of Christmas Tags 2020...Day 10...Reverse Confetti

Welcome to the 10th Annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags!

If you are new to the event you can click HERE to see the posts from the last 9 years. There are also links to the Pinterest boards for each of  the past years at the bottom of this post.  There is so much incredible inspiration there.  I am so excited to share that there are 26 sponsors this year, and each of the sponsors and their designers will be joining us as a guest for a day!

Welcome to Day 10!

If you are just arriving for the first time all the details and the linkup can be found HERE!

So excited to share that we have Reverse Confetti as our sponsor today.

My tags are both made using Reverse Confetti Snowflake stamps and their Tag Me dies.

White heat embossed snowflakes with just a bit of ink blending on the entire tag, plus a few drips of water complete these tags.

And a card, while I still have my supplies out.

Please head over to the main post on Tracey's blog for more information on how you can join in on the
fun and have a chance to win one of our prizes.

25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019...Day 5

Welcome to Day 5 of The 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019.  If you are arriving for the first time, all the details and the link up can be found HERE.

Our sponsor for Day 5 is Reverse Confetti.

I went all the way with Clean and Simple for my pair of tags.  I stamped an image/sentiment from Christmas Circles on tags cut from Topped Off Tags.  These tags were really quick and easy to make.

Please head over to Tracey's blog for more information on how you can join in on the fun and get a chance to win a prize.

CASology Week #243: Icing

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is icing.  I immediately thought of icing on the cake, and pulled out Candles N Confetti from Reverse Confetti to make my cake.  On this card, icing is provided by colored pencils.

Now it's your turn.  How does ICING inspire you?  I hope you play along this week.  Please remember to keep it Clean and Simple.

Please head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from the design team.

Joyce (that's me)
Kymona   (It's Kymona's birthday this week, and she has a giveaway on her blog)

We are sponsored this week by Serendipity Stamps.

Our Guest Designer is Lin B.

Happy Birthday and Thank You

I am playing along at CAS(E) this Sketch #178 and Seize the Birthday with a birthday card using some new Reverse Confetti stamps and dies.  I didn't see a good place for a sentiment, so I stamped one inside the card.

I made a set of 10 thank you note cards for a friend who is recovering from a fall.  I started with a box of pattern paper folded note cards, cut them down to A2 size, embellished them with various thank you die cuts of gold shimmer paper, and then put a strip of patterned paper on the inside and also the bottom of the envelope.  I made 2 of each design.

I think it will be a very practical gift, as I imagine she will have many people to thank in the coming weeks.

I am entering this card set at Simon Says Monday where the challenge is to use patterned papers.

A Kitty Card and an Owl Thank You Card Set

I've got a card today for this week's Make it Monday #174:  Diamond Wallpaper Stamping.  I used a stamp from Autumn Pattern Pieces to stamp my background, and filled in some of the diamonds with itty bitty paw prints.

The background stamping was not difficult, but it did take a long time to do and lots of worries about messing up and starting again.   I was sad to think that so much of it would be covered up by my Spiral Notebook die cut, which is where I put all the bits of my focal point.  So....I actually cut the Spiral Notebook piece out of that stamped piece, filled it in with a True Black die cut, and now I have a wallpaper stamped Spiral Notebook piece to use later in the week.

I made a set of thank you cards for my daughter to use for her birthday thank you's.  Of course, there had to be owls on them--I used a strip of owl washi tape to decorate the top panel and a sentiment from Reverse Confetti Lots to Say.  They are all a little bit different because I varied the colors as well as which corners I rounded on the top panel.  They are A1 size which is about 3X5.  That seems to be an easier space for Sarah to fill when writing her thank yous.

I well be entering the card and the thank you set at Simply Create Too #66:  For a Child, and Simon Says Wednesday Anything Goes.

A Card Set and Another Mini Notebook

I promised to show you what was in this gift bag I posted yesterday, so I am back with some photos for you.  I followed a tutorial I saw on the Reverse Confetti blog to make this card set.  I used the same color scheme as the card from ColourQ #244 and added texture to my stamped panels, so am entering this card set at Addicted to CAS #39.

I used Reverse Confetti Lots to Say for the sentiment, Waltzingmouse Simple Sprig for the flowers, and Lawn Fawn Penelope's Garden for the leaves.

Attempt #2 for this week's Make it Monday #167 to make a mini notebook was a little more successful.  I put a couple of layers of rubber cement on the edge of the paper stack, before using Scor Tape to put it all together.  I think that little bit of magic helped a lot.  I am also entering this into Simon Says Monday Magic challenge.

My colors are from this week's ColourMe #23 Monochromatic Coastal Cabana, my sentiment is Think Big, and the images are from Oopsy Daisy.  I used white, Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores and Tropical Teal papers and inks.

That's it for me today.  I hope you are not sick of this week's ColourQ colors, because I have some more cards for tomorrow using a stamped panel I made for this card set, but then rejected.

Four Cards for Wednesday

Happy Wednesday my friends.  I've got four cards to post today for a variety of challenges.  First up is a card for this week's Festive Friday FFC #23, The Card Concept #2 and Addicted to CAS--NEW.

For Festive Friday, I took my inspiration from the red barn, the snowy scene, and the trees.  I am pretty sure that this is my first time playing at Festive Friday.

The texture for the Card Concept challenge is provided by the bumpy rows of faux stitching on the edges of the snowy hills.  I am especially excited to be playing at The Card Concept because one of my besties, Cathy, has recently joined the team.  I am putting this card into the Clean and Layered category.  What do you think?

My new supplies on this card are the ME Landscape Trio dies and the Holiday Home stamp set. I used houses from Holiday Home and trees from City Scene.

Next up is a card for this week's Fusion #2, where I took my inspiration from the photo--the colors, flowers and wood plank background.   The challenge at A Blog Named Hero #36 is 'New year, new stash'.  The Hero Arts Hydrangea stamp is practically brand new, since I have only used it one other time.  I am also entering this card at Addicted to CAS--NEW.  Lastly, the challenge at Simon Says Monday is 'A is for...' and I am using the word ANGLE because my design features patterned paper cut at an angle.

My last two cards are for the color challenge over at Reverse Confetti.  Given that I only have one die and one stamp set from Reverse Confetti, I was a bit stumped.  But, sometimes having less forces more creativity, and I actually ended up with two ideas for this challenge.

So, lucky me--I now have two more birthday cards for my stash, and I think these could be used for either gender.  And, because they are both textured using the PTI Numbers impression plate, I'm going to link them both up at this week's Card Concept #2.  And, I'm calling both of these clean and layered.

That's it for me today.  I am going to my first official meeting with my daughter's college counselor.  Wish me luck.  Where the years have gone is a mystery to me.  I am not ready for all of this.
