Card Drives (Part 4)

Happy Sunday.  I have been crafting for a couple of days, and decided I'd better post my cards before the challenges end.  I've got two tags for this week's Tag You're It challenge. I was inspired by Leigh's diagonal patterned paper and her use of die cut words.

I turned my tags into cards, and will be entering them at Addicted to CAS with the code word : TAG.

I used the beautiful color scheme on the left for this week's Colour Me for my next card.

Edited to add that I am linking up to the current challenge at Time Out--Birds of a Feather Flock Together.  (Thanks, Sandie).

The topping this week at Seize the Birthday is Washi Tape, so I broke into my newest washi tape purchase from SU to make this card.

I'm playing along at the Card Concept Thank Fall challenge with my next card.  I took a few Distress inks and created a stamped panel using leaves from Autumn Acorns.  Then, I sliced the panel and created 2 cards.

I used this sketch from RetroSketches to create my next card.

All of these cards also satisfy requirements for various challenges in the Hope You Can Cling To card drive at SCS, and I will be sending them all to MD Anderson Cancer Center.  This last card is also part of the HYCCT drive, but not for any other challenges.

That's it for me today.  I hope you all enjoy the rest of the weekend, especially that extra hour that we gained.

Sneaking 2 Cards In

Well, this is crazy--two posts in one day--but I am trying to catch a few challenges that are about to end.  I'll be brief.

First up is a card for this week's Make it Monday #152.  I used the colors of this week's Dynamic Duos DD#91--the closest I had were SU Pear Pizzaz, Calypso Coral, and Strawberry Slush.  I used Fancy Flourishes with Fresh Snow ink, and Leave it Be stamps.  I was surprised how well the technique worked, and the flourishes really show through, especially on the most solid stamp.

This card is to help WPlus9 celebrate their birthday.  The challenge is Week 3 Trend Watch, and I've incorporated several trends in my card--feathers, sequins, and gold.  I used the colors from this week's Color Throwdown ctd280, and the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch CTS #65 and Freshly Made Sketches FMS #124.

I'm still trying to work my way around the blogosphere.  If I haven't been by yet, I'll be there soon.

Thanks for Visiting

Two Birthday Cards and a Thank You

This is my second post of the day.  If you are looking for my 12 Kits of Occasions post, please scroll down or click here.

It has been forever since I have played at Less is More, and I don't know why, because I love this challenge.  The sketch this week is such a fabulous one, so I made a card to play along.  I am also linking up at Seize the Birthday Anything Goes, and Simon Says Monday Challenge:  Say it With Stamps.  The finished size of this card is 4 3/4 square.  I don't normally make square cards, but I really liked this sketch just as it was.  I am feeling very 'Ardyth' now.

My next card is made possible by the generosity of my sweet stamping buddy Tracey, who sent me Lawn Fawn leaf die cuts in all the fall colors.  I am entering it into this week's CAS-ual Friday's CFC115, Addicted to CAS ATCAS #23:  Autumn/Fall, as well as Seize the Birthday Anything Goes, and Simon Says Monday Challenge:  Say it With Stamps.

Finally, I have a thank you card using Fanciful Feathers (WPlus9) using this week's CAS(E) this Sketch CTS #47, and I am also linking up at Simon Says Monday Challenge: Say it With Stamps.

Monday Mood Board #19 and Dynamic Duos #69

I am sneaking in at almost the last moment with a card for this week's WPlus9 Monday Mood Board.  I was inspired by the colors and all that beautiful white space.  I also wanted to use my new Fanciful Feathers stamps and dies.  I just love those feathers.  This card came together very quickly and simply--just my kind of card.

I chose to make a bookmark with this week's Dynamic Duos colors.  Way back when, I bought some plastic bookmark sheaths from a friend at the PTI Forum.  I stamped a random pattern of mums and leaves from Mum's the Word in Pacific Point, Pear Pizzazz and Kraft.  I stamped 'This is where I fell asleep' and 'Life is Short Read Fast' on the front and the back, and then masked with a die cut circle.
