My Crafty Weekend

Hello and happy Sunday.  I am back from Montana, where I spent several days with my 2 daughters and my sister-in-law, enjoying nature and relaxing.  I missed my stamps, and went on a crafty tear when I got home.

First up is this colorful card using PTI Salt Air Fauna stamps.  I was inspired by the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch #280 and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Fun in the Sun.

Another card using the same stamps and dies, as well as the matching Salt Air Fauna stamps.  I am entering this card at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Summer Fun, and The Male Room #89:  Fish/Fishing.

I am entering this next card at PTI Make it Monday #328: Creating Shadow Backgrounds.  I used What the Doodle Butterfly stamps and dies for my images.  I had forgotten how pretty the detailing is on these stamps.  I am also entering this card at Just Add Ink #417: Just Add "T".  My "T" is "thank you".

I created a watercolor background using PTI reinkers on this card and am entering it at Just Us Girls #449: Watercolor Background.  I used that watercolor background as the base behind this Poppystamps Happy Birthday Background die, and am entering this card at Poppystamps Challenge #46: Birthday Party.  There are quite a few birthday challenges this week, and I am entering this card at Addicted to Stamps and More #300, Inkspirational #165, and Seize the Birthday without toppings.

Back to the ocean for my next card, which was inspired by the sketch at CAS Colours & Sketches #280 and the baby challenge at Addicted to CAS #140.

My next card is an encouragement card featuring the emboss resist technique, and I am entering it at CAS-ual Friday's Challenge #203.  All of my coloring on this card was done by sponging Distress Inks.

Are you tired yet?  Last card is inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #345 and the colors at Color Throwdown #501.

That's it for me today.

Thanks for Visiting

  1. Wow! I am so impressed by this fabulous collection. I passed on the Salt Air Fauna stamps and am thinking it was a mistake. I just love that first card which is so perfect for the sketch, but they are all wonderful. Brushed Birds is another favorite. I've been waiting for the dies to come in for months!

I ordered that set this week due to that card but will have to wait for the dies. The second card likewise is adorable. The yellow birds are stunning against the blue card stock! Well done on your busy weekend.
