CASology Week #245: Grow

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is grow.  Lots of fun ways to approach this word.  I chose to break out some flowers I haven't played with in a while.  My image is pretty simple, but there are three different dimensions on the card, adding interest without too much fuss.

We have a nice, soft color palette for you this week.  These colors said 'baby' to me, but I said 'I'm up to my ears in baby cards, with no babies in sight....how about some flowers?'

Happy Birthday

I used the color isolation technique taught at Make it Monday #245 to create this birthday card.

I am hitting the road tomorrow with my daughter to tour a few colleges.  I have some scheduled posts next week for DT stuff, but other than that, will probably be pretty scarce on line.  I'll be back to my usual blog visits by next weekend.

Just a Note

I have been meaning to play along with this week's CAS(E) this Sketch #156, and I finally got the chance to make a card today--just in time.

I decided to use PTI Petite Pots for the first time and pulled together this card pretty quickly, in between baking a batch of banana bread and catching up on laundry.  Who says my days are not exciting and glamourous?

I am also entering this card at Simon Says Wednesday Anything Goes.
