The weekend is winding down, and it is time for me to post my cards and clean up the big mess I made. First up is a card for
Day #2 of the Papertrey Ink 8th Anniversary Celebration. The challenge was to create a project inspired by Maile Belles. This was a very fun challenge.
This is the card I chose. I used the same cover plate die, but made a water colored background, rather than patterned paper.
I am also submitting this card to
CAS-UAL Fridays cfc136 must love watercolor.
Challenge #3 was
'Bagged and Tagged' and I made a little tag using Tiny Treats Valentines, and tied it on to a Favor It #3 treat box.
Challenge #4 was to build a bouquet using more than one stamp set. I was inspired to use Mega Gracious Vases by one of the cards Betsy posted this morning.
I used so many different stamp sets for this card. So nice to see all my stamps and dies playing nicely with each other.
My flowers were from Beautiful Blooms II and Funky Florals.
Leaves were from Embellished Elegance.
Stems were from Beautiful Brushstrokes.
My sentiment was from Mini Blooms.
The vase was from Mega Gracious Vases, and I stamped over it with the Crackle background stamp.
I made a little shelf out of Raspberry Fizz paper and stamped it with Modern Wood Mats in Raspberry Fizz ink.
I am also entering this card at
Simon Says Wednesday Bright and Beautiful.
I have one more card to post today. I created a background by sponging and blending 3 different colors of pink Distress Ink, and then adhered Love Cover Up from Lil Inkers on top.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Addicted to CAS Hugs and Kisses,
Addicted to Stamps #130,
Curtain Call Kissing Booth,
Inkspirational Challenge #75 Rose Colors,
Simon Says Monday H is for....Hearts.
