A quick post today to share two cards. My first card takes inspiration from this pretty photo for this month's Papertrey February 2016 Blog Hop.
I stamped a random background of flowers from Cutting Garden in Sweet Blush, and then softened them with a piece of vellum. I adhered two stamped die cut fern leaves from Meadow Greens and added a sentiment from Wet Paint.
I am also entering this card at Simon Says Wednesday Anything Goes.
Next up is a card using this week's technique from Make it Monday #240: Watercolor Resist. I was lucky enough to receive a little pot of masking fluid from Nancy as part of the kit I will reveal here in a few days, so I was able to participate in this week's technique.
I used colors suggested by Just us Girls #331: Teal, Aqua and Navy Ziggie markers and then cut my water colored piece with the Heart to Heart Balloon die.
I am also entering this card at Paper Players #283: Up Up and Away and Addicted to Stamps and More #182: Make Your Mark.
Thanks for Visiting

ReplyDeleteYour first card is perfect for CASEing, Joyce. Love the vellum at an angle and your beautiful floral background for the fern. Your balloons using masking fluid look so free and airy. Don't think I'll accomplish that MIM (no rubber cement & no masking fluid). Great job as always, Joyce!
