Serendipity SSCB #21

Hi there.  I have a quick card to post today for the current paper piecing challenge at Serendipity SSCB #21.  One of my fave spin instructors is expecting her first child, and I had this idea to use a bike with a teddy bear in the basket.  I already had a cute bike with a basket, and Marybeth came to the rescue, sending me some stamped teddy bear images that I could put in the basket.  She is not saying if it is a boy or girl, so I used Aqua Mist and Harvest Gold as my colors.

I paper pieced the basket and the teddy bear.

I made a matching tag--and my spinning buddy and I are going shopping this week for a baby gift.  It seems like it has been a long time since I shopped for baby things.

Thanks for Visiting

  2. So precious, Joyce, oh, my gosh. That tag is such a bonus on top of a perfect card!!

I've taken the time to mosey back through all the cards you've made in the past week and now the front of my shirt is wet with drool! I guess I'm a dedicated carder because I don't even drool THAT much when I'm reading a cooking blog!! You are a star!! Hugs, Darnell
