25 Days of Christmas Tags 2020...Day 4...Newton's Nook

Welcome to the 10th Annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags!

If you are new to the event you can click HERE to see the posts from the last 9 years. There are also links to the Pinterest boards for each of  the past years at the bottom of this post.  There is so much incredible inspiration there.  I am so excited to share that there are 26 sponsors this year, and each of the sponsors and their designers will be joining us as a guest for a day!

Welcome to Day 4!

If you are just arriving for the first time all the details and the linkup can be found HERE!

I am happy to share that we have Newton's Nook as our sponsor.

I made both of these tags using different puppy stamps from newton's Nook Canine Christmas.  I created a background for both tags using one of the smaller stamps in the set.

Copic coloring and fussy cutting--two very simple tags.

I am also entering this tag at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, where the challenge is to make a tag and play along with our challenge, and Retro Rubber #147: Anything Goes (my stamps are 3 years old).

Please head over to the main post on Tracey's blog for more information on how you can join in on the
fun and have a chance to win one of our prizes.

Time Out #166...Reminder...Curl Up with a Good BOOK!

There is still time to play along with the current challenge at Time Out.  We challenge you to make a card inspired by the word PEACEFUL.

Nothing more peaceful than curling up with a good book....whether or not you are actually even reading it!  I love to read, so this little kitty dozing on the bookshelf, from Book Club by our sponsor, Newton's Nook was the perfect image for me.

Please head over to Time Out to see more inspiration from our Design Team and Guest Designer. Our Guest Designer this week is , so please stop by her blog to see what she has created for this challenge. Newton's Nook is our sponsor for this challenge.  Details for the prize are on the Time Out Challenge Blog.

This challenge will run another week.  I hope you will take some Time Out of your busy schedule to play along with us.

My Crafty Round Up

Warning....lots of card photos...I had a super crafty weekend.

First up is this birthday card featuring circles (balloons and focal point) for MFT Birthday Project, Seize the Birthday #187: Spring Fling (colors and little chickies) and Addicted to CAS #183: Animal.

I am playing along at Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge #121: Birthday Theme for I think the first time, using the sketch from CAS Colours & Sketches #366 and the colors from Color Throwdown #589.

My next card is inspired by the challenge at Ink to Paper Project Reachout: Keep Swimming and the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch #368.

Next is a card going to one of my friends who is a health worker super hero, and I am entering it at the new Seize the Birthday/Seize the Heroes #188 and MFT Color Challenge #139.  I used a band aid die from PTI to ground my super heros.

Another encouragement card with the same sentiment as this card from earlier in the week, and I am also linking it up at Cupcake Inspirations #491.

I am getting a Holiday Headstart with the latest challenge from Stay Crafty with Hero #5, and I am also entering this card at A Blog Named Hero Water Coloring challenge.

And, now I have two sympathy cards, as I try to rebuild my stash of these important, yet hard to make cards.  I am entering this card at Perfectly CAS #8: Masking.

My final card is very similar to the card I made earlier in the week here, and I am also entering it at AAA Cards #163.

Well, that's it for me today.  It is amazing how crafty I can be when I am stuck in the house.

Time Out #159...Reminder...relax . read . repeat

There is still time to play along with our current challenge at Time Out.  This week, we challenge you to be inspired by the words below...

How true this quote is.  I am a big reader, and there is nothing better for me than curling up with a good book.  If I can read outside in my garden, all the better.

On this card, I am joined in my reading by this very sweet cat by our sponsor, Newton's Nook, who can be found in Newton's Book Club stamps.  This cat looks so very relaxed.  I wonder if he knows that my pup, Sherlock is giving him the stink eye?

Please head over to Time Out to see more inspiration from our Design Team and Guest Designer. Our Guest Designer this week is Lee Ann, so please stop by her blog to see what she has created for this challenge. Newton's Nook is our sponsor for this challenge.  Details for the prize are on the Time Out Challenge Blog.

This challenge will run another week.  I hope you will take some Time Out of your busy schedule to play along with us.

Crafting before the Superbowl

Popping in quickly to post a few cards for several challenges.

First up is a get well card that I made for Sherlock to send to my youngest daughter, as she currently has a cold.

I am entering this card at Freshly Made Sketches #420, Color Throwdown #578, Simon Says Monday Challenge:  All Loved Up, Paper Players #476: Love is in the Air, and AAA Cards #158: Up to 1/3 plus optional twist hearts.

Next up is a get well card, inspired by the challenge at CAS on Friday #172 and Addicted to Stamps and More #374: CAS.  I am also entering this card at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge:  Anything Goes.

Last up is a card inspired by the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch #357 and the January challenge at A Blog Named Hero: Anything Goes.

That's it for me today.  I don't have interest in the superbowl, but do enjoy the commercials....that's where I'll be this afternoon.
