Natural Beauties Card Set

I made a card set over the last few days, using Natural Beauties and Simple Sentiments stamps.  I cased myself from this design here, which was originally cased from Maile Belles.

I will be entering the 'thank you' card from this set into this week's Simon Says Monday challenge for Thanks/Thanksgiving.

Summer Sunrise/Orange Zest    Memento Angel Pink/Scarlet Jewel

And, I will enter this pair into this week's Simon Says Wednesday Challenge to use ink.

Aqua Mist/Hawaiian Shores    Memento Angel Pink/Hibiscus Burst

SU Baja Breeze/Pacific Point    Winter Wisteria/Royal Velvet

Each card has a die cut from the Wine Bottle Die that is stamped and then embossed with the Stitching Impression Plate.  The sentiment on each card is stamped onto a Double Ended Banner die cut.  I used the zig zag die for the tops of all the cards.

Retro Sketches #60, Muse #14, CAS-ual Fridays #99, Simon Says Stamp

Happy Friday.  It is almost the weekend and I am looking forward to lots of warm sunshine.  I have two cards today.  The first one is for this week's Retro Sketches RS#60, where I get to CASE Deanna's beautiful card.  Yay--I love CASE-ing Deanna.  I am also submitting this card to CAS-ual Fridays CFC99:  Birthday Bash, and Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes.  This is such a great sketch, and this card is one of my favorites of the year, so far.

My next card is for this week's Muse Challenge #14, where we have this beautiful inspirational card from Virginia Lu.  I was inspired by her colorful floral background and masked circle for her sentiment.  I used PTI Beautiful Blooms II in Summer Sunrise, Hibiscus Burst and Hawaiian Shores to stamp a colorful floral background, and used a sentiment from Avery Elle Framed Fonts inside my masked circle.  I impressed the panel with the Picnic Plaid Impression Plate, and used Ranger white enamel dots and bling for the flower centers.

I am also submitting this card to CAS-ual Fridays CFC99:  Birthday Bash.

Make it Monday #89

In this week's Make it Monday #89, Nicole shows us how to create a window for a floating image.  This is quite easy to do, but I think the end result makes it look like it was difficult.  My kind of project.  Here is the card propped open.

Here is a picture of how the card looks flat.  I love how you can see just a bit of the sentiment and the stamping inside the card.

Here is the inside:

I love this sentiment, from my new Over Under Easy.  It is such a good natured twist on the usual 'get well', and I can see using it a lot.

Supplies Used (PTI):
Stamps:  Natural Beauties, Over Under Easy, Turning a New Leaf
Paper:  White, Aqua Mist, Clear
Ink:  Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, Ocean Tides, Limeade Ice, Memento Grey Flannel
Other:  Dies:  Mat Stack 1, Layerz Mat Stack 1, Picnic Plaid Impression Plate, Turning a New Leaf, mini pearls

Thank You Cards

I have been the recipient of many kindnesses recently, and I wanted to make a few cards to show my gratitude.  I really liked the layout that Maile used here, and wanted to see if I could use my new Natural Beauties stamp set with this design.

This first card uses Winter Wisteria, Plum Pudding and Simply Chartreuse, and it is on it's way to Jeanne of A Kept Life for the beautiful butterfly die she just sent me.  I just love butterflies, and his new die goes with another butterfly die she already sent me for my birthday.  Isn't she just too sweet?

The color scheme of this next card is Memento Angel Pink, Hibiscus Burst and Simply Chartreuse.  Note:  I tried it with Sweet Blush, but my Sweet Blush has a brownish tint, and I liked the pinkness of Angel Pink.  This card is going to my friend Michelle in the UK, who sent me the cutest little Waltzingmouse stamp set as a thank you for being her shipping buddy.

This last card is going to my friend Rhonda from Stamp N Piece.  The colors are Aqua Mist, Versacolor Turquoise, and New Leaf.  She sent me one of the favors she made for her Texas Stamp a Faire group, and you can see it in action right here.  Isn't it cute?  She and her husband made these little card holders.  I have also timed this post so I can link up this card with Rhonda's Thankful Thursday #32 post.

Here are all three cards together, as a reminder of the kindness and generosity of my blogging friends.  The best thing about this trio of cards--they are all in the mail already, on their way to show the recipient how much I appreciate them.
