Casology #56, Make it Monday #128, ColourQ #201, and Moxie Fab

One card for 4 challenge today--Make it Monday #128:  Stamping Random Pattern Backgrounds, ColourQ #201, Casology #56 Dessert,  and The Birthday Card Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.

I used some of the smaller images from Snowflake Flurries to stamp a random pattern on my card front.   Then, I made a cupcake from Cupcake Collection and adhered that to a Spiral Notebook Die Cut.  I used the star sprinkles stamp to cover the white die cut, and added some Prisma Glitter to the top of the frosting.

I used Laurie's Card Hanger die to make a little gift set:

I have one more card to share today, and it is another entry for this week's Casology and The Birthday Card Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.  I have been trying to pull out older stamps that haven't seen much love in a while, and my SU Birthday Bakery set seemed perfect for both of these Challenges.

I just love the sentiment that came with this set.  I colored all the images with Prisma Color pencils, and added glossy accents and stickles, too.  Here is a close up:

Paper Smooches Sparks and PTI Anniversary

This week's Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge is all about Polka Dots.  What could be more fun than that?  I found a few little polka dot stamps in my Alphadots set, and used them to create a bit of random polka-dotted rainbow.

Next up is another card for the Papertrey 6th Anniversary celebration.  Yes, I am still stuck on Day One, and I have made a card inspired by (OK, copied from) this card from Erin.

Erin

If you look closely, you can see a few things that I changed--but I really fell in love with this card, and found it hard to stray too far from the original.  In the works, but not fully baked yet, is a version in a completely different color scheme.  I was so happy to see this card, because Cupcake Collection was one of my earlier PTI purchases, and it has not seen much love lately.

Supplies Used:
Peace
Stamps:  Paper Smooches Alphadots, Pretty Phrases
Paper:  PTI White, Harvest Gold
Ink:  PTI Scarlet Jewel, Orange Zest, Summer Sunrise, Harvest Gold, Simply Chartreuse, Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, Ocean Tides, SU Real Red

Birthday
Stamps:  Cupcake Collection, Simple Sentiments
Paper:  White, Hawaiian Shores, Simply Chartreuse, Beautiful Beads
Ink:  Versafine Onyx Black
Other:  Cupcake Collection and Loop de loop dies, Numbers Impression Plate

Four-of-A-Kind

Yesterday, I told you I had something in store for you today--here it is:

Four-of-a-Kind

Here is the program:  The 'hostess' for the month makes four kits and sends them out to each of the four of us.  We work secretly to create a card using at least 4 items from the kit.   No other rules or restrictions.  We are allowed to use anything else we have on hand.  We get to see each others cards today, on each of our blog posts.  We are scheduling our posts to go live at the same time.

I'm so excited to see what everyone did with the incredible kits Cathy sent out last month to get us started. Cathy made a kit using PTI Cupcake Collection, and sent us embossed cardstock in Berry Sorbet, Dark Chocolate, and Simply Chartreuse, plus lots of other die cuts and patterned papers.

Here is my card:

I wish I had thought to take a picture of the kit all spread out, but I didn't. Everything you see on this card was in the kit, with the exception of the little paper button.  The kit had enough in it for me to make another card or two, which I will do at some point. This is a great way to get to play with a stamp set or other supplies that you don't own, don't you think?

The other three members of Four-of-a-Kind are:
Cathy Weber:  Empty Nest Crafter
Renee Lynch:  It's a Patchwork Life

Please stop by their blogs, if you haven't been there already, and see what they have created for our first ever Four-of-a-Kind post.  Don't miss the blog candy being offered on Cathy's blog--become a follower and leave a comment for all four of us to be eligible for this prize.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  PTI Cupcake Collection
Paper:  Berry Sorbet, Dark Chocolate, Simply Chartreuse, whatever patterned paper is listed on Cathy's blog
Dies:  PTI:  Cupcake Collection, Fillable Frame #10, Mat Stack 4, Edgers #1, Double Ended Banner
