I've got a trio of birthday cards today--still feeling pretty patriotic after July 4th...
I played with some new stamps and dies from PTI--Paper Clippings: Birthday for my first 2 cards. This card is inspired by the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #244, where I turned the sketch on its side.
My red, white and blue color scheme is inspired by challenges at Curtain Call: Cherry Bomb, CAS-ual Fridays #151 and Simon Says Monday.
I stamped a couple of these cake towers while I had everything set up in my Misti.
I am entering this birthday card at Addicted to Stamps and More #201: Anything Goes.
I pulled out a super oldie--PTI Spring Doodles for my last birthday card today.
I am entering this card at CAS on Sunday #86: Black and white and one other color, Inkspirational #112: Anything Goes with Red, and Seize the Birthday where the toppings are bees, birds and butterflies.

ReplyDeleteHiya Joyce!!! Oh how I love all of these, but the first one is killer fabulous. I love the offset red oval. It goes beautifully with the shape of the blue banner. The stars are perfectly placed. I LOVE IT! I love the colors of the cake on care #2, and I love that you've tilted it. The embossed background is perfect, as are the sequins. #3 is fantastic too. I love the black, white, red combo. great design. A wonderful trio!!!!

Three really lovely birthday cards, Joyce! I love the patriotic color palette on the first one, and how you angled the fun b-day cake on the 2nd card! Great idea to create a stamped background on your last card, too! You did an amazing job on all of these challenges :)
