CASology Week 155: Cupcake

Hello and happy Tuesday.  It's time for a new cue word at CASology.  This week, our cue word is CUPCAKE.   How fun is that?  I found an older wooden cupcake stamp in my stash--the stamp is unlabeled, but I am pretty sure it is Hero Arts.  I stamped the cupcake in Versafine Onyx Black on watercolor paper, and then colored with my Ziggies and then fussy cut.

I placed my cupcake on a silver platter (literally) and adhered to a card front embossed with numbers.

I am also linking this card up CAS-ual Fridays #141: embossing and Simon Says Monday Anything Goes.

So, how about you?  How are you inspired by CUPCAKE?  I hope you play along this week. Please remember to keep it Clean and Simple.

Head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from the design team.

  11. What an absolutely charming little card! I am such a chicken when it comes to leaving parts of a card white (color-holic I guess), so I really admire how beautifully you made this look! You've proven that white can be stunning and I love how you brought it to life with the numbered background. And that cupcake!! If I wasn't on an unfortunate calorie-counting kick, I would've gone straight to the bakery to buy one for myself! So thanks for at least letting me see an adorable cupcake! Excellent work and an enjoyable post to read. I also smiled at your bio. Being an eternal librarian and an English major, I always appreciate people who can write well and create great art. You've nailed both areas and I'm so glad you shared this with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
