WPlus9 Quilt Cuts Card Set

Happy New Year, friends.  I hope you are all recovered from your festivities, and ready to get back to real life and a bit of crafty fun.  We had a very long and late family dinner on New Year's Eve, followed by a lazy New Year's Day.

Over the holidays I made a set of cards for the woman who runs our book club at the temple.  She puts in so much effort in selecting the books and leading the discussions, and I wanted to do something for her.  I used sentiments from a variety of sets, and all the cards were made with the WPlus9 Quilt Cuts 2 die.  I used the Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangles and the PTI Canvas & Linen Impression Plate on the card bases, and the focal point was the quilted die cuts layered on a Spellbinders Lacey Squares die cut.

Warning--lots of photos in this post!

Here is a peek at the backs of two of the cards.  I used an image from WPlus9 Fairisle Patterns, because it seemed to match the die cut pattern.

I was thinking about packaging ideas when I saw Maile Belle's post yesterday, where she revisited All Booked Up.  How perfect for a librarian, right?  I pretty much copied her card and packaging ideas.
