25 Days of Christmas Tags 2020...Day 7...Uniko

Welcome to the 10th Annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags!

If you are new to the event you can click HERE to see the posts from the last 9 years. There are also links to the Pinterest boards for each of  the past years at the bottom of this post.  There is so much incredible inspiration there.  I am so excited to share that there are 26 sponsors this year, and each of the sponsors and their designers will be joining us as a guest for a day!

Welcome to Day 7!

If you are just arriving for the first time all the details and the linkup can be found HERE!

Today I am excited to announce that we have Uniko as our sponsor.

I used Uniko Background Blocks Scandinavian Christmas stamps for both of my tags today.

I love that I can achieve such different looks from the same stamp set.  On this tag, I stamped in Memento ink and colored the little images in with Copic markers.  Each image is so small, so the coloring went quickly.

This tag was even quicker to make, as all I had to do was heat emboss the single image in white.

Please head over to the main post on Tracey's blog for more information on how you can join in on the
fun and have a chance to win one of our prizes.

Dream Big....and More...

Hello friends....I have eeked out some crafty time already this week, and will start with my favorite card of the bunch.  The challenge at Stay Crafty with Hero #8 is Small Joys, and I found some tiny stamps in my newest Hero Arts stamp set to use on my card.  I stamped the trio of books 4 separate times, cut them out and stacked them up, resting the little reading mouse right on top.  I don't know why, but I love this card so much (I may never send it out).  I am also entering this card at AAA Cards #165: Up to One Third + Optional Twist of Repeating Image (my trio of books).

This next card is inspired by the challenge at Lawn Faunatics #77: Oh Baby and Perfectly CAS #9: Animals.  This sweet little baby deer is from Lawn Fawn Into the Woods.

Next up is a card inspired by the challenge at Paper Smooches:  Thank You, Addicted to CAS #184: Flower, and Retro Rubber Challenge #135: tic tac toe (die cut, embossing, flowers).  My stamps are Paper Smooches Blossoming Buds and I think they are 4 years old.

Last up is a card using these beautiful Chrysanthemum stamps from Uniko, and I am inspired to play along with Uniko Challenge #59:  Anything Goes with the optional twist of bright and happy.

Time Out #160...Reminder...Happy Birthday

There is still time to play along with our current challenge at Time Out.  This week, we challenge you to be inspired by the photo below...

Here is a larger version of the photo.  There is so much in this photo to be inspired by.  What will you choose?

I was inspired by the color scheme--black and yellow--and the various patterns I saw on the chair, pillow and foot stool.  I used a graphic stamp from Uniko called Mid Century Modern II

I stamped the image once in black on white card stock, then filled in some of the open shapes with yellow Copic markers.  I used white embossing powder on black cardstock for my card front.

Please head over to Time Out to see more inspiration from our Design Team and Guest Designer. Our Guest Designer this week is Ana, so please stop by her blog to see what she has created for this challenge. Uniko is our sponsor for this challenge.  Details for the prize are on the Time Out Challenge Blog.

This challenge will run another week.  I hope you will take some Time Out of your busy schedule to play along with us.

Time Out #150...Reminder...Merry & Bright

There is still time to play along with our current challenge at Time Out.  This week, we challenge you to be inspired by the words below...

I focused on the word 'merry' from the challenge quote, and put together a card using a few Uniko holiday stamps.  I really like this giant 'merry' stamp, and stamped it in a bright, bold red.  I built the rest of my card around this big red 'merry'.

Please head over to Time Out to see more inspiration from our Design Team and Guest Designer. Our Guest Designer this week is Angie, so please stop by her blog to see what she has created for this challenge. Uniko is our sponsor for this challenge.  Details for the prize are on the Time Out Challenge Blog.

25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019...Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of The 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019.  If you are arriving for the first time, all the details and the link up can be found HERE.

Our sponsor for Day 4 is Uniko.

My first tag uses the Background Blocks Scandinavian Christmas stamp.  This is a lovely background stamp with all these sweet tiny Christmas images.  I used silver embossing powder on a dark blue tag base.

For my next tag, I used Let it Snow Stencil with embossing paste to create all this snowy texture on my tag.

For my last tag, I used the Sparkling Snowflake die to create the focal point on my tag.

While I had these supplies out, I decided to make a few cards.  I really had fun playing with all these supplies from Uniko.

This card uses the Sparkling Snowflake die cut in red, on a white textured card front and a hand cut sentiment popped up in the middle.

My next 2 cards use the Background Blocks Scandinavian Christmas stamp in some creative ways.  I stamped in dark forest green and clear embossed, before framing the images and stamping a sentiment on the frame.

On my last card, I used copper heat embossing, and then sponged light blue ink all over the stamped area, aiming for a soft border of blue.

Please head over to Tracey's blog for more information on how you can join in on the fun and get a chance to win a prize.

Time Out #147...Reminder...Thank You

There is still time to play along with our current challenge at Time Out.  This week, we challenge you to be inspired by the words below...

I used this really fabulous graphic stamp from our sponsor, Uniko for this challenge.   The stamp is called Mid Century Modern, and it really appealed to me.  I was inspired by the word 'grateful' in the challenge quote and made a thank you card.  I grabbed a 'thank you' sentiment from somewhere in my stash, and wrapped it around the stamped edge of my focal image.  I added various enamel dots in a pretty random way, to give my card a futuristic look.

This challenge will run another week.  I hope you will take some Time Out of your busy schedule to play along with us.

Finally.....Some Cards...

It feels like forever since I have sat down to make some cards just for fun, but that is what I did yesterday.  I've been spending lots of time knitting lately, and that has cut into my card making time.

I just returned from bringing my oldest to New York where she will spend the summer.  As you will see from this card and the next, I still have New York on my mind.  I am entering this card at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Vacation, as I have just returned from my first vacation of the summer in NYC.

Yes, NYC still on my mind, where I paired Concord & 9th City Stacks with Scooter Balloons from Lil Inker.

I was inspired by the sketch at CAS Colors and Sketches #325 and the colors at this week's Color Throwdown #547.  I am also entering at Seize the Birthday #167: Anything Goes.

Last up is a simple sympathy card inspired by the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch #326.
