Dream Big....and More...

Hello friends....I have eeked out some crafty time already this week, and will start with my favorite card of the bunch.  The challenge at Stay Crafty with Hero #8 is Small Joys, and I found some tiny stamps in my newest Hero Arts stamp set to use on my card.  I stamped the trio of books 4 separate times, cut them out and stacked them up, resting the little reading mouse right on top.  I don't know why, but I love this card so much (I may never send it out).  I am also entering this card at AAA Cards #165: Up to One Third + Optional Twist of Repeating Image (my trio of books).

This next card is inspired by the challenge at Lawn Faunatics #77: Oh Baby and Perfectly CAS #9: Animals.  This sweet little baby deer is from Lawn Fawn Into the Woods.

Next up is a card inspired by the challenge at Paper Smooches:  Thank You, Addicted to CAS #184: Flower, and Retro Rubber Challenge #135: tic tac toe (die cut, embossing, flowers).  My stamps are Paper Smooches Blossoming Buds and I think they are 4 years old.

Last up is a card using these beautiful Chrysanthemum stamps from Uniko, and I am inspired to play along with Uniko Challenge #59:  Anything Goes with the optional twist of bright and happy.

CASology Week #341...Turquoise

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is TURQUOISE.

I used Uniko Pure Florals Chrysanthemum stamps for my card.  I inked up the biggest solid Chrysanthemum image in Catherine Pooler Aquatini ink (my turquoise), added some texture and attached a die cut sentiment.  A really quick and easy CAS card.

Now it's your turn.  How does TURQUOISE inspire you?

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)
Our sponsor this week is Uniko.  The details of the prize can be found on the CASology blog.

I hope you play along this week.

Please head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from the our Guest Designer Elizabeth and the CASology design team.

Time Out #118...Reminder...Thanks

There is still time to play along with our current challenge at Time Out.  Our challenge this time is to be inspired by this beautiful photo.

I was inspired by the orange flowers and green leaves in the photo.  I used Uniko Pure Florals Chrysanthemum stamps and colored with Copics.  The die cut Thanks is from WPlus9.

Please head over to Time Out to see more inspiration from our Design Team and Guest Designer. Our Guest Designer this week is Angie, so please stop by her blog to see what she has created for this challenge.  Poppystamps is our sponsor for this challenge.  Details for the prize are on the Time Out Challenge Blog.

This challenge will run another week.  I hope you will take some Time Out of your busy schedule to play along with us.

CASology Week #282...Hug

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is HUG.

I die cut the word 'Hugs' several times, stacked them up and coated with black Wink of Stella.  Finally, I got a stamp set from Uniko, and I couldn't wait to ink it up.  I used the largest bloom from Uniko Pure Florals Chrysanthemum and stamped it partially off the page.  Then I tucked the supporting bits of my sentiment under my die cut word.

Now it's your turn.  How does HUG inspire you?  I hope you play along this week.  Please remember to keep it Clean and Simple.

Please head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from the design team.

Joyce (that's me)
