My Crafty Weekend

Happy Sunday, and I am just starting to dig through the mess on my desk, from having been so crafty.

First up is a card using some MFT bears to play along with the MFT Color Challenge #143 and MFT Sketch Challenge #493.  My friends Kim and Tracey and I have decided to try to take these MFT bears on some adventures together, so I will be excited to see what they post also.  I am also linking this card up at Simon Says Monday Challenge: It's a Man Thing.

Next up is a challenge inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #439 and the colors at Just Add Ink #509 (can you see the yellow sprinkles in the background?).  I am also entering this at Seize the Birthday #192: All About Summer (because...Popsicles!!)

This next card is for my mom, who loves pandas, tap dancing and Broadway musicals.  I know that she will love this chorus line of dancing pandas, inspired by the challenge at Less is More #421: Borders.

This next card will be my final and third entry at Poppystamps #69: Clean and Simple challenge, my go to style of card making.  I chose to feature these adorable Whittle Mice in some bright and summery colors.  I am also entering this card at Just Us Girls #540: Frame It, CAS on Friday #182: Sunshine, Inkspirational #215: Yellow Paint and  Seize the Birthday #192: All About Summer.

Another birthday card for my stash, featuring the colors from Color Throwdown #597.

How about a bunch of cute dogs all squeezing together for the sake of friendship?  I am entering this card at Inky Paws #125, Cupcake Inspirations #495: Friendship, and Just Us Girls #540: Frame It.

Last but not least, a card inspired by the challenge at Stay Crafty with Hero #10: Build a Scene,  Seize the Birthday #192: All About Summer (we always go to the fair in the summer), and SOSS #162: T is for Technique (ink blending).

My Crafty Weekend

Here are the cards I made during my loooooong weekend.  (I think it was the weekend...it's hard to keep track of the days)

I made this card for the Stay Crafty with Hero Arts Challenge #4: Self Care.  I picked one of my oldest and most favorite Hero Arts stamps, Silly Scape for this challenge.  I am also entering this card at CAS on Friday #177: Black, White and One Color.

My next card was inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #430, which reminded me I had purchased dies from The Greetery that were perfect for this challenge.   My colors were inspired by CAS Colours & Sketches #365.  Stamps are oldies but goodies from PTI Larger than Life.

Next up is a card with one of my favorite MFT polar bear images....and it was inspired by the sketch at MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #484 and the colors at MFT Color Challenge #139.   I am also entering this card at Addicted to CAS #183: Animal, and AAA Birthday #12: Dots and/or Stripes (striped scarf).

Last up is a card inspired by the Project Reach Out: Missing You Challenge.  I used vintage PTI Larger than Life and Vogue Vases stamps and dies.  I am also linking up at Addicted to Stamps and More #384: Clean and Simple.

My Crafty Visit

Lucky me....my niece came to visit for a few days, and she wanted to craft 24-7.  She was a quick study and made so many wonderful creations.  I was right along with her, and have 6 cards to post today.

First up is one of my favorites....it is amazing how easy shaker cards are when I have the right sized customized pouch!  I am entering this card at Addicted to Stamps and More #362:  Make Your Mark.

How about a swarm of penguins?  I think it's called a Waddle.  I forgot to leave a place for a sentiment on this one, so it will go inside, as I didn't want to cover anyone up in my group photo.  I am entering this card at Addicted to CAS #169: Creature, CAS Christmas October: Winter Scene, and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Christmas.

My next card gave me a chance to show my niece the magic of heat embossing and dry embossing, and I am entering it at The Flower Challenge #37: CAS, The Library Challenge #43: The Secret Garden, and The Paper Players #462.

I am entering this following card at Paper Smooches October Challenge:  DT Inspiration...I was inspired by the cards in this post, and also Just Us Girls #508:  Designer Paper...some hombre watercolor paper by Lil Inkers.  Just love those bitty baby sharks.

Last up is a pair of cards I made using a blend of fall colors.  I couldn't decide if I wanted my die cut to have blending or the background to have blending, so I made one of each.

I am entering this card at Shopping Our Stash #406 and Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Fall.

And, the other version...I am entering this at The Male Room #121:  Stay CAS.
