My Crafty WEEK!

Hello and happy Sunday.  I've been stress-crafting all week, and now I am finally stopping to post everything.  I'm going to keep the writing to a minimum, as this is already going to be a long photo-heavy post.

First up is this fun snowy scene--a snowball fight in the early evening.  I am entering this card at Inkspirational #225: Night, Shopping Our Stash #432: Hot Drinks, Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Thinking of You.

One more card with some 'drinking buddies', this time using Skating Party by Hello Bluebird.  I am entering this card at Just Add Ink #530: Stamps-Ink-Paper (my images were stamped, fussy cut and colored).  I am also entering at Shopping Our Stash #432: Hot Drinks, Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Thinking of You.

Next up is a holiday card inspired by the sketch at MFT Sketch #514 and the Christmas challenge at CAS Friday #192.

The next 2 cards use a flipped and rotated take on the sketch at AAA Cards #178.  I am also entering at Retro Rubber #147: Anything Goes using a stamp set I have had for several years, Tim Holtz Wine Blueprint.

Next up is a series of birthday cards--and I am entering the lot of them at Seize the Birthday #203: Anything Goes and AAA Birthday #19: For a Child.  I am also entering this first card at Just Add Ink #530: Stamps-Ink-Paper (my images were stamped, fussy cut and colored).

All of the following cards are from my crafty Panda-Fest earlier in the week.  They all use various panda themed stamp sets, and will be sent to my panda-loving mom to give to her panda-loving friends.  I am  entering them all at Retro Rubber #147: Anything Goes--and I have had all these stamps for 2 or 3 years.

I am entering my final two cards at the Stamplorations November Stencil Challenge.  I used the Stamplorations slimline Bamboo Stencil to create a backdrop for my anniversary pandas.

Happy Labor Day

Hello and happy Labor Day.  With the hot weather and stay at home orders, today was a good bonus crafting day for me.  I made 2 fun birthday cards with some of my favorite little critters.  I am entering these cards at AAA Birthday #17: Animals or Critters, Seize the Birthday #198: No Topping, Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Favorite Stamp (Mama Elephant Little Agendas---various animals), and SOSS #168: F is for Friends (all my critters play so well together, especially when they are all going to the same birthday party).

My first card uses a critter from each of the ME Little Agenda sets that I have.  It was a fun but also difficult choice to pick which critters could come to this party today.  I also put some balloons and mountains in the background from The Birthday Bash and Scene Builder stamps.

This card uses The Greetery Destination Stencil to create a little town, where the Chickie friends are getting ready for a birthday party.  Trees and taxi are from PTI City Scene.

My 3rd card is not as cute, but I think more sophisticated.  I used some earthy fall colors and the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch #388 to create this Thankful Project for ITP Melissa's Fab Friday Feature.  My colors were inspired by the challenge at Shopping Our Stash #428 (Mustard, Orange, Green).

I used PTI Quilled Elegance, as this stamp seemed to match the sketch perfectly.

Time Out #158...Reminder...Find Joy in the Ordinary

There is still time to play along with our current challenge at Time Out.  This week, we challenge you to be inspired by the words below...

We have chosen purple for this month because March 26 is Epilepsy Awareness Day and purple is the color of Epilepsy.  Our optional twist is friendship.  I have made a card using several different shades of purple, and I sent it to a dear friend who loves purple.  I used this cute mini scene of London from Mama Elephant Snow Globe Scenes, and populated it with a couple of purple mini pandas from Little Panda Agenda.

Please head over to Time Out to see more inspiration from our Design Team and Guest Designer. Our Guest Designer this week is Kavya, so please stop by her blog to see what she has created for this challenge. CAS-ual Fridays Stamps is our sponsor for this challenge.  Details for the prize are on the Time Out Challenge Blog.

This challenge will run another week.  I hope you will take some Time Out of your busy schedule to play along with us.

My Crafty Week

I had a super crafty week.  This week, I went to Camp Create at MFT for the first time.

I earned 4 badges so far, and hope to complete the 5th tomorrow.

Day 1 was Wonderful Watercolor and I made a watercolor sky behind my New York city skyline.  I am also entering this card at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge to 'Make Your Own Background'.

Day 2 at Camp Create was Remarkable Resist, and I made this card by heat embossing Roses All Over with white embossing powder and then blending a variety of blue and green Distress inks.  I am also entering this card at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge to 'Make Your Own Background'.

Day 3 at Camp Create was Spectacular Shakers  and I used supplies from the Good Time To Wine card kit for my card.  This was the first time I have ever used shaker pouches for a shaker card, and I am completely convinced.  I have never successfully created a shaker card that actually shook, and these pouches made it so easy.

Those shaker wine glasses were so fun and easy to make that I made another card with them and I am entering it at Seize the Birthday (no toppings).

Day 4 at Camp Create was Glitzy Glitter and I used the colors from MFT Color Challenge #121 to create my card.  I liked the suggestions on how to use just a bit of glitter to avoid a glittery mess, and I used glitter washi tape over my sentiment and Gold Stickles as my candle flames.

I just received a set of tiny adorable pandas from Mama Elephant, and they were perfect for this week's challenge at Less is More #400:  Small Images.  A special thank you to Michelle, whose DT card most directly inspired this card.  I used colors from Just Us Girls #497 and am also entering this card at AAA Birthday #3: For the Girls.

That card led to this card, also inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #397.  I am also entering this card at Just Add Ink #466, where the colors and the Christmas theme were my inspiration, Shopping Our Stash #400:  Christmas in July, The Male Room #115: Christmas in July and also Less is More #400:  Small Images.

And, now for the sad part.  I needed a few pet sympathy cards this week, and also had to replenish my stock of that type of card.

This card was inspired by the sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch #331.

I am entering this card at Paper Players #451: Masculine and AAA Cards #145:  One Image.

And lastly, I am entering this card at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Animal Magic.
