ColourQ #368...Best Wishes

It's time for another challenge at ColourQ.

This week we have a beautiful fall palette to inspire you.  I used brown and green ink and orange and yellow colored pencils on my card today.  It was really quick to make, which is good because I was very short on time.

ColourQ #367: Happy Birthday

It's time for another challenge at ColourQ.  I got a new stamp set from Stampin Up.  It is called Totally Trees and I am really loving it.  Can you tell that my sentiment is gold embossed?

I am also linking this card up at Cupcake Inspirations #383 where the challenge is trees.

ColourQ #364...Peace on Earth

It's time for another challenge at ColourQ.  I think these colors are perfect for Halloween, but I feel kind of done already with Halloween crafting, so I decided to play with my new What the Doodle Ornament stamps from PTI.  One more card for my holiday card stash.

ColourQ #363...Fight Like a Girl

It's time for another challenge at ColourQ.   This week, our color scheme is black, newsprint, and one spot of color.  You will notice something strange about my card.

Where is the newsprint?  That is a very good question.  I completely missed that part of the color palette, even though I can see it is right there in front of me.  My fellow DT members have been so kind and supportive, and encouraged me to post this card anyway.

So, here is my card--pink with a faint grey ribbon, and one of my favorite sentiment for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

I am also entering this card at Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog #60: Anything Goes.

Please head over to the ColourQ blog to see more inspiration from the Design Team.  I am sorry that my card is not going to provide you with any ColourQ inspiration this week, but perhaps it may encourage you to do your monthly breast self exam.

I hope you will play along this week.

ColourQ #362...hope

It's time for another challenge at ColourQ.

I took my inspiration from a video I recently saw on Jennifer Mcguire's blog all about creating cards with a Striped Inlay.  I created a panel using random strips of card stock in this week's colors, and then die cut the word 'hope' out of the panel.

I inlaid another die cut word cut out of plain white card stock.  I also added a bit of faux stitching to the bottom of the card using a die from MFT.

ColourQ #360...Hang in There

It's time for another color challenge at ColourQ.  I have one customer for my cards, and she had requested some cards she could send to cheer up her clients who have been looking for the perfect house for a long time without success.  The card I made using this weeks colors is another card for her.  You can see the first one here.

I pulled out an ancient Waltzingmouse set (5 plus years old?) that I always love to paper piece.  Isn't this a cute country house?

I am also linking this up at Simon Says Wednesday Clean and Simple Challenge, Retro Rubber #47: Anything Goes, and Addicted to CAS #97: Stitching (all the image stamps have faux stitching in the design.

ColourQ #359...Thank You So Very Much

It's time for another color challenge at ColourQ.  I used this week's colors to make a book themed thank you card for the leader of one of my book clubs.

I was inspired by this card of Susan's.  I think that sentiment on the stack of books is too funny.

ColourQ #358...Hang in There

It's time for another color challenge at ColourQ.  I am finally back from all of my summer travels, and it feels really good to be home and crafting again.

I have one customer for my cards, and she had requested some cards she could send to cheer up her clients who have been looking for the perfect house for a long time without success.  The card I made using this weeks colors is for her.

Wouldn't you be happy to wait for your perfect house in this neighborhood, where the sun is always shining on your house?   (Actually, after I made the card, I do see that perhaps my sunrays should be stamped the other way, so I will make a second version later, to see how it looks that way.

I am also entering this card at Simon Says Monday, where the challenge is stamp it.
