I have a card for this week's CASE Study #150. As soon as I saw this card, I knew I wanted to use my new Round Repeats stamp set. I pulled colors from the sample card and made my own focal point medallion--which was my inspiration. My design was also inspired by this card by Maile Belles.
My youngest daughter is working with a friend, trying to make things to sell to raise money for our local animal shelter. I just love that she has such a big heart. I let her take a bunch of my stash of cards to sell, with all the proceeds going towards her cause.
Then, I got to thinking about this post I saw a while back about 'Color Me Card Sets'. Since Sarah's sales table is set up at the art camp she is currently volunteering at, I thought perhaps those parents and kids might be interested in something similar. So, Sarah helped me pick some fun images from my stamp stash, and 'Color Your Own Thank You' card sets were the result.
Here are a few representative pictures:
They were all pretty quick and easy to make, and each card is a 1/4 piece of white card stock. I also stamped the front and back of the envelopes, and there is a place on the back for the 'artist' to sign their name. We tied them up in groups of 4 or 5, and we will see how it goes. I made 8 sets for her to sell, and if she needs more, I will set her and her friend to stamping them.
